Palin stays in attack mode

From NBC/NJ's Matthew Berger
PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Palin chastized Obama for continuing to serve on charitable boards with William Ayers after he knew of Ayers’ ties to a domestic terrorist group.

Palin continued to question Obama's claims that was unaware of Ayers’ ties to Weather Underground, and criticized him for staying involved on charitable boardds with him after finding out.

“He didn’t know that until he did know? And then he continued to be in any way associated with that person?” Palin asked rhetorically. “The story keeps changing and the claims keep getting more and more curious.”

Obama’s advisors acknowledged the Democratic presidential candidate stayed on charitable boards after he learned of Ayers' past. The campaign had said Obama was unaware of Ayers' background when he became involved in Chicago politics.

Palin’s words received a strong reaction at the Civic Center, where the continuous strobe of camera flashes were striking in the darkened auditorium. At one point, as Palin delineated Obama’s comments on Ayers, a supporter yelled “We’re not stupid!”

Palin nearly repeated verbatim her comments from an earlier fundraiser in Jacksonville, when she defended McCain’s health-care plan and repudiated suggestions that it is a tax, or that McCain would threaten Social Security.

What an appeal Sarah Palin makes. She appeals to the bigot in our sinful nature by acting out the bigot in her sinful nature. Don't entertain her. Rise up and stand tall Obama.
