The Obama camp is confirming they have bought 30 minutes of air time in primetime on "the networks" Oct. 29.

*** UPDATE *** The Obama campaign stresses it is not saying which networks -- as yet.

*** UPDATE 2 *** The campaign now says it has bought 30 minutes of ad time in primetime Oct. 29 on CBS and NBC and Fox -- if there's no World Series game. They are still negotiating others.

*** UPDATE 3 *** At least NBC's timeslot is 8 p.m. ET.

Major speech before the election...great idea!
Great - I'm going to get on-line and donate more $$$.  I hope 2 things - that he puts this terrorist BS to bed by bringing Republicans who have served on boards with Ayers as well on air and challenge the audience by saying something like "so are we all terrorists too?"  Because there are many republicans who have served on boards with Wm Ayers!!

Also, perhaps he will use the time to unveil some sort of "New Deal" program he has planned to help get us out of this economic mess that the Republicans have gotten us in to!!!

OBAMA/BIDEN '08!!!!
I am sure it has to do with "A Dead Skunk In The Middle Of The Road".....And the moose got away......
After the Keating clip it will be interesting to see where they go. It's a wise move and it is likely that the McCain camp is filling up their slury tanks for the final campaign days. I hated to see the need for the Keating clip but it was needed. The McBush campaign needs to know that if they want to continue down that road, there will something just around the bend waiting for them. The Obama campaign has seldom used negative ads but I am thrilled to see that they have been willing to use force when needed.
I am curious what they would air for 30 minutes. Obviously, they have a lot of money.
Holy S$*t! That is a HUGE purchase, and a very effective use of his funds. There's no point in raising a record amount of money unless you intend to use it!

Brilliant move, Senator Obama!
You won't see this on network news and certainly not Hannity and BillotheClown!

But if McCarthy-era guilt-by-association is once again a valid political consideration, Palin, it would seem, has more to lose than Obama. Palin, it could be argued, following her own logic, thinks so little of America's perfection that she continues to "pal around" with a man--her husband, actually--who only recently terminated his seven-year membership in the Alaskan Independence Party. Putting plunder above patriotism, the members of this treasonous cabal aim to break our country into pieces and walk away with Alaska's rich federal oil fields and one-fifth of America's land base--an area three-fourths the size of the Civil War Confederacy.

AIP's charter commits the party "to the ultimate independence of Alaska," from the United States which it refers to as "the colonial bureaucracy in Washington." It proclaims Alaska's 1959 induction as a state "as illegal and in violation of the United Nations charter and international law."

AIP's creation was inspired by the rabidly violent anti-Americanism of its founding father Joe Vogler, "I'm an Alaskan, not an American," reads a favorite Vogler quote on AIP's current website, "I've got no use for America or her damned institutions." According to Vogler AIP's central purpose was to drive Alaska's secession from the United States. Alaska, says current Chairwoman Lynette Clark, "should be an independent nation."

Vogler was murdered in 1993 during an illegal sale of plastic explosives that went bad. The prior year, he had renounced his allegiance to the United States explaining that, "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government." He cursed the stars and stripes, promising, "I won't be buried under their damned flag...when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home." Palin has never denounced Vogler or his detestable anti-Americanism.

INVESTIGATE THIS LEFT WING MEDIA!!!!

Great idea!! Spend the time rebutting evry one of the lies that are spewing out of the mouths of McWorse and Caribou Barb. Then finish with how much better he will be on health care. economy, foreign relations, etc
Love this.  Go big or go home.
