The Obama campaign isn't just advertising on television and radio. It's also running ads in Xbox video games.

With hat tips to Andrew Sullivan and Politico's Ben Smith, check out these screen grabs. That's fascinating stuff.

Can you EVEN imagine McFossil's camp thinking of stuff like this? Not in a million years. Where's Luke Russert on this topic? He's suppose to writing for the youth of America, isn't he? What does he think about this? Obama just might get those kids off their duffs and to the polls this year!  Obama/Biden '08/'12
Gotta give em credit where credit is due. The Obama Campaign runs like a well oiled machine for the future. McCain's vintage spark plugs just produces sputters and spurts and his Ford Pinto soon be left on the side of the road.

Obama/Biden 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the differences in this election become more and more clear every day

McCain is old, erratic, and out-of-touch with the coming information age . . . he doesn't even know how to turn a PC on

Obama is of the next generation: calm, post-partisan, multi-cultural, and maximizing new technologies

Obama will truly be the first president of the information age
At the same time, Obama's telling underachieving kids to stop playing videogames. Weird.

Anyways, I play a lot of videogames and am also politically active for the Obama Campaign so this at least shows Obama is making good use of his advertising dollars.

Another example of how out-of-touch the McCain campaign is.  I would bet that Senator McCain doesn't even know what an XBox is...

I play World of Warcraft.  On at least one server there is a guild called "Vote Obama."  I have no idea whether that is a formal effort by the campaign or just a fan, but I thought it was interesting.
Smart, very smart.  Way to be everywhere.

Bummed I don't have Dish, so I don't get the Obama channel, all Obama all the time!

Thank goodness for the internet.
Obama. The man is a child.
Wow! If this man runs the country like he's run this campaign, we're in for a FABULOUS four (eight?) years!  I've never seen a campaign so progressive, out-of-the-box, innovative -- and at the same time --good-old-fashioned-grassroots. Awesome!
Typical democratic constituents. The lowest common denominators. Uninformed students who have never been out in the real world, low income people looking for handouts, homeless people picked up from shelters. It's a shame my vote gets cancelled out by uninformed people. No, I'm not worried about his 20 year membership in a rascist anti-American church, he is all about HOPE!! What he does doesn't matter, let's just believe everything he says. Can anyone honestly say they believe him when he says he never heard Wright say divisive stuff. If you don't believe him then why do you think he was in that church for 20 years? BECAUSE HE BELIEVES THE SAME THINGS THAT REVEREND WRIGHT DOES!!!! Why else would he be a member of that chuch!?!? Fools are going to put us in a depression.
Now that is unique.

simply amazing that they would think that thoroughly about their advertising campaign with everything else going on.
Barack and his campaign staff are running a brilliant 21st Century campaign.  The tired old fighter just can't overcome this great campaign with his fuddy duddy 20th Century BC campaign.  He has no new ideas to move the country forward, just going backwards to the Voo Doo Tinkle Down economics that have left the world all wet from the wrong kind of Golden Shower.

That idiotic dropping of the capital gains tax to 7.5% will only help the CEO class as they cash in millions or tens of millions of capital gains and pay less tax than most working Americans.  Better to do a capital gains/dividends/interest income exclusion of say $2,000 which helps all investors without giving the rich and greedy all the help.  As always he's listening to his elitist lobbyists as he comes up with plans that help him and his Ancient Barbie wife rather than middle class or poor Americans!

Go Obama/Biden 08/12!
OK - that is impressive.

If Obama is half as thorough during his presidency as he is during this campaign he will still be about 400% better than Bush.
Going through college, my son was the biggest liberal in the world. No cause was too small. No government program was too big. More aid, more grants, more money for him and his college buddies. Now he has a steady job. First check he got he called and asked why the net amount of the check was so much less then the gross amount. I told him that money is needed for all those government causes, programs, aid, grants, and people that prefer not to work. The Republicans welcomed a new member that day.
Good idea Obama.

On another matter I find it disgusting that palin is satting she was exonerated by the Alaska legislature and found not to be in violation of any law or ethics violations by the same. Rachel Maddow had it right last night when she read over and over again the report from the Alaska Commission findings that Palin "HAD" violated the State's Ethics Rules and called Palin a liar. Maddow is right, palin is an out and out liar. It is amazing she can get away with such blatant, immoral and public lying about the findings of this investigation.

If that were Obama people would be calling for his head in addition to those racists who already are calling for his head.

How in the hell can Palin get away with this? I notice Chuck and his team have spent little time on Palin's out and out lies and refusal to admit what the investigation findings state.
Obama and his team has thought of everything.  Just think what he can do for our country if he has been so complete with his campaign.  He is the leader we need to get us out of this mess!!!!!!!!!!
I love it and McCain is still trying to figure out how to email and operate a computer.  Is there any question who's more in touch with the world today?
Just one more example of Obama's leadership abilities.  His campaign has been dialed in from day one with a solid team of advisers who GET IT.  McCain probably doesn't even know how to check his email and is sadly stuck in the old school world of "I'm a good guy/maverick/underdog", constantly hitting the campaing re-set button trying to reinvent himself.  Obama has gotten it all along, McCain doesn't even know what it is.
That is neat!! His campaign is really one for the textbooks!!

Yesterday Obama introduced his Economic Strategic Plan = the Dow SHOOTS UP 937 points!

Today McCain introduces his Economic Plan = the Dow DROPS DOWN 200+ points so far!!

JUST A COINCIDENCE?  I DOUBT IT!

PEOPLE HAVE WAY MORE CONFIDENCE IN BARACK OBAMA!!
Most awesome ad idea ever! 100 Cool points!  Hats off to Obama's ad people. The McC camp would probably say "X what?". This just shows how in touch Obama's entire campaign has been from the start. Maybe next he can beam his logo onto the full moon!
I bet McCain doesn't know what and Xbox is.
If you think about, Obama is kind of an Xbox character. He's not real, he's all fluffed up to be some kind of pseudo-hero, and he's made to do and say things by people we never see. Now if we could just pull the plug and turn of that whiney voice of his, he'd be just like a lot of the other Xbox characters.
All anyone has to look at in this election cycle is how the campaigns have been run.  If Obama can run the government even half as good as he has run a campaign it will be a huge gift to our country.  McCain on the other hand would have to run the country 5 times as well as he has run his campaign for us to even have a chance.
I think McCain will counter by having his own message inserted into the 200 remaining units of that "brand new Space Invaders" game.
Obama showed up on the screen in one game. We managed to destory him with the Ray Of Truth. He didn't stand a chance.
Well, this shows innovation and an understanding of the current technological times.  Remember, McCain doesn't even know how to send an email.  He can't understand Xboxers and online gamers.

Obama is willing to go where the PEOPLE are, reach them where they are in order to serve them.  Not the other way around here we have a wild goose chase to find guidance or help and then fill out out these forms before I ignore you further.
mcCain thinks X bOX is a box full of soft pornographic DVD'S

Obama, I applaud your motivation.

Of course, McCain/Palin don't have the “BRAINS" to communicate how important this election is!  They would love to continue to spin Sexism plus ACORN; which btw: has due diligence to report multiple registrations so that it doesn’t become voter fraud. Don't forget the Republicans unashamedly lying about Obama having a close relationship with Ayers.

Accusing Obama of stealing the election is LAUGHABLE.
They should be paranoid. That M.O. (stealing the election and lying) is their only expertise!

McCain/Palin= more than the same
No way
No how
No  McCain/Palin
Nobody but Obama/Biden

Obama and his team has thought of everything.  Just think what he can do for our country if he has been so complete with his campaign.  He is the leader we need to get us out of this mess!!!!!!!!!!

Kari (Sent Tuesday, October 14, 2008 2:47 PM)

Obama a leader (laughter). Sure. And Obama thinks those xbox games are real and are how you actually fight wars. While Barack is playing his little wargames, the terrorists will be playing war for real.
LOL

Freeking awesome!

That's forward thinking and siezing opportunities.
LOL at 39 and an XBOX owner I guess they are going after my vote. Obama is my choice for POTUS!
It's awesome to see an Obama ad in a video game. I just wonder if his campain put it in there or if it was just a programmer who is a supporter thet put it in there.
ROFLMAO!!!

This is freakin' brilliant!!!

"That One" / Biden '08!!!
Another way Obama is getting the word out.  Farmers are busy harvesting their corn and beans in enclosed, air-conditioned cabin tractors.  Most listen to satelite radio.  Obama is also talking to farmers, explaining that McCain opposes the farm bill and Obama supports farm subsidies for ethanol.  McCain hasn't thought of that one either.
So, Mcshame is going after the coffin box crowd...
A 21st century campaign and candidate.  So much for the old man yelling at clouds.

Let's go Mo. and put Senator Obama in the white house.  He's the only candidate in it for the middle class and the poor....the rich can come along and they'll be fine, too.
This is so awesome !  Way to go Obama Team.  Really reaching out and using very unique ways of getting the message across.
