From NBC's Mark Murray
It's not quite Bullwinkle, but it's close. The liberal group MoveOn says it's running a new TV ad -- featuring a talking moose head hanging on a wall -- that hits Palin for her lack of experience.

"You really gotta question John McCain’s judgment pickin’ Sarah Palin as his VP," the moose says. "We know her up here. She doesn’t have any national security experience. She can’t even explain Bush’s war policy. But she supports his war. And now she’s an expert because she can see Russia?"

Per MoveOn, this ad will air in states the day before and the day of Palin's appearances there. On Monday, it's running in Nevada, a state Palin visits tomorrow.

The script:
You really gotta question John McCain’s judgment pickin’ Sarah Palin as his VP.
We know her up here. She doesn’t have any national security experience.
She can’t even explain Bush’s war policy
But she supports his war.
And now she’s an expert because she can see Russia?
McCain is 72 and she could end up in charge.
She may be a little “trigger-happy” – I should know.

*** UPDATE *** RNC spokeswoman Amber Wilkerson emails this response: “Americans support the McCain-Palin ticket because it represents the real reform that our nation needs. Unlike Barack Obama and his left-wing allies, John McCain and Sarah Palin have a record of reaching across party lines and shaking up the status quo, and they understand that we need to keep taxes low for families and small businesses during our current economic crisis.”

We know she pulled the trigger on Walt Moneghan who didn't do what she wanted.  So, they probably need his head up on that wall as well.
Ok people.  I'm by no means a fan of Ms. Palin but can't we rise above this level of attack? There was all this uproar - rightly so - about her sinking into the abyss of a smear campaign - and then MoveOn turns right around and does the same thing?  Focus on her extreme positions - there is enough material there to base 100 ads on.
Moose don't talk. Be realistic. But there are talking donkeys. They symbolize Obama and Biden, unless BHO decides he'd rather have a pig to symbolize his party. Hey, maybe an acorn.
hahahahaa......please people, vote with your hearts, not by race....vote who is better for the country...vote Obama and send Palin back to Alaska
This is a funny ad,but no bull (pun), she is a terrible pick (bad McCain judgment),and could easily become president due to McCain's age, and health
Hmmmm I wonder if the McCain/Palin ticket will still say people need to have sense of humor about political ads and comments?
Cuz this, is FUNNY!!! VERY TRUE but VERY FUNNY
Funny - but true.
EXCELLENT

THANK YOU, MOVEON !!

someody has to take this on
Simple Sarah Palin is UNQUALIFIED for the VP position

Her slection magnifies McCain's erratic and reckless decisions. (see gas tax holiday, 'suspending' his campaign. 'Bomb, Bomb Iran')

John McCain, a spoiled, underachieving womanizer who thinks he's 'entitled' to the Presidency
The Moose is smarter than Sara............
Not nearly as brutal and viscious as the garbage being aired by the GOP groups! Actually...it's kind of funny but it still gets its point across.
Hee Hee!!!  Poor guy, rest of him is a mooseburger.  Funny even a damn moose knows shes not qualified!!!!!!!!

Obama/Biden 08c
Hey, Rocky, watch me pull an election out of my hat!

Love the ad!
That's too funny.  Anyway it's right on the money as "Sinner" Sarah is cartoonish to the max.  MoveOn.Org does another great ad lampooning the Dumber and Dumbest ticket.  Actually that's kind of unfair criticism of mooses.

We can all be thankful that she is the biggest reason why the Hate Talk Express is long.  She will never be able to run for national office ever again and that's a great blessing for our country.

Go Obama/Biden 08/12!
Colin Powell is right. America needs Obama.
Maybe the Lipsticker and Cheney can go hunting together!

Wonder which one would end up with buckshot in the face?

Now with the moose ad being run, next will come the wolves flying helicopters shooting at snowmobile riders hollering "take this suckers".

Palin, her husband Todd, Joe the plummer, Joe Six Pack, and McCain along with all you Republicans are an embarrassment to America throughout the world not just here in America. Stupidity and Fear mongering is the brand of the Repuke party. Your racial attitudes are showing daily, something we don't need.

Enough is Enough.

I cast my vote two weeks ago for the "right one" or that one, I'll give him a chance at least it's a change.
Bad video. Trying to mix a talking moose with serious concerns is really not a good thing. I have a feeling Obama will not like this one.
Very funny ad and on point. I agree with you Moose.
This was funny!  And FRIGHTENING.

As American patriots, should we stand idly by while a domestic terrorist could be threatening us from a seat of power?  And I don't mean Barack Obama, I mean our dear Ms. Palin!

Don't think she's a terrorist?  Ask endangered Alaskan wildlife.  Don't think she's a terrorist?  Ask the woman forced to bear a child from an act of rape and then forced to pay for a rape kit.  Don't think she's a terrorist?  Ask her friends in the Alaska Independence Party.

I say we make sure she's nowhere near a seat of power - GET OUT AND VOTE!  Don't let someone with neither the skills nor the heart to in any way shape the leadership of this great country.
Epic LuLz to Moveon.org.
VERY GOOD!!!!

That will get everyone's attention for sure. You Betcha'
Finally

Todd speaks.
Kinda wish they wouldn't do this....there is no need and MoveOn's spot only adds to the onslaught of negative attacks.  Governor Palin has all by herself proven 2 things which won't change:  1) she is the darling of the rabid right, they love her and always will and 2) she is completely unqualified to be VP, much less President.  The pitbull is already dead as far as November 4 is concerned, let's continue to have her do the work of Senator Obama by demonstrating each and every day in each and every way that she is completely out to lunch and was a purely political, charge-up-the-base selection tha backfired big time.
The ad is funny, but there are some serious points to be made,  The New York Times talks about McCain's health.  I was struck by the difference between McCain and Powell. I don't know the age of Powell, but they are both Viet Nam veterans. Powell is so much clearer in thought than McCain.  Five years in a Viet Nam prison camp has to take its toll.  Powell, the intellectual conservatives (like George Will) and several of the newspaper editoral staff who endorse Obama cite Palin's inexperience as a reason for not supporting McCain.  It could be that John's base is the same base who supports Bush...right-wingnuts like Pat Buchanan.
This is funny.  But I just have to say I am really angry right now.  McCain is implying  that Obama's small donors are "Like Bill Ayers."  So because I disagree with him and moose killer Barbie, I am suddenly a domestic terrorist.

McCain was not kidding when he said he wanted to be a dictator.
While I'm an Obama supporter and question Palin's intelligence to do much of anything, this ad is not consistent with the classy way that Barack OBama has run his camoaign.
VERY FUNNY!!!

I GUESS IT TAKES A MOOSE TO RELATE TO THE SHEEP (REPUBLICANS)!
Bullwinkle would have been a better pick for McCain's running mate.

People would take him more seriously than Palin.
Is there anyone that still takes Moose Mouth serious. This woman has taken the movement backwords instead of forward. She has shown she is a woman that depends on the first dud to fight her battles. She has shown that her experance is very limited along with her abussive style.Bomber must have fell for the glamour shot,There dosn't seem to be much if you look past the cover.
now THAT'S hilarious.
The talking Moose is right, more than half the country is right, Gov. Palin is McCains biggest mistake. Gov. Palin really cant fit into HRC shoes,
Palins foot is to big, her mouth is to big, especially when she has no idea whats shes talking about, which is all the time. The woman is a joke, she really didnt look like she was having a good time on SNL either. Shes a fair actress, we already knew that, look at the people who think she is qualified.
Sorry Joe S.  sorry Pat B. you guys are pouting b/c
you are wrong and stupid to think the American public
will except the dumbing down of our country again. No,
not after Bush, the guy you want to hang around with.
Those of you who want to hang out with Palin and 1st Dude, you will find them in Wasilla after the next Govenors election in Alaska, and they wont be to busy to hang out either.
marty
I agree with Joe the Moose.
Cute, but, I hope it is effective.
The moose could not have been more correct on this issue, however the moose forgot to wink. Now that is funny! Was I laughing outloud America? You bet ya!! Maybe the moose can tell America why justice is not being enforced in the Troopergate scandal. Palin has violated her court ordered subpoena, and abused her powers as Governor for violating state ethics laws. The moose needs to call or write his state representatives. Now was the moose mounted in the house that the Palin's had built for free? OOOPS! Another possible "politics/economics of Palin" scandal spewing up in Alaska. What a joke!
Cute, and a little scary (as in now I'll have nightmares about a talking moose tonight).  Make sure the kids are out of the room when this is on.

Obama/Biden '08!
http://jawillie.blog.com
Obama supporter here.
Move on puts out the dumbest ads. I think I could do better for them. I am soooo sure this is going to sway an undecided voter, or a Republican that is having second thoughts about voting for his parties ticket this year.
Might have been more effective, less off-putting, to have the moose agree with Obama's policies, especially climate change and energy (supportive, not negative) and then end with "Gov. Palin, don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger."
Yawn

Someone needs to teach MoveOn.org how to make ads.
Excellent job moveon! Attacking and attacking with truths!
