Mason-Dixon has released new polls for the battlegrounds of Florida and Virginia -- and they show tight races in these two states.

In Florida, McCain holds a narrow one-point lead over Obama, 46%-45%. Earlier this month, another Mason-Dixon poll showed Obama with a two-point advantage in the Sunshine State, 48%-46%.

And in Virginia, Obama is up two points, 47%-45%; earlier this month, McCain was ahead by three in the state, 48%-45%.

The polls were conducted in each state from October 20-21, and they both have margin of errors of plus-minus 4%.

Obama is not the best man for the job....To put it plainly Obama is the only man for the job. He is the light at the end of the tunnel. The man to change this country for the best and keep it there.  I am not just voting for president on the 4th...I am voting for the future of America..and never before have i been so excited to step into that booth  Go Obama bring change bring hope bring home the election
Colin Powell should be Obama's secretary of state. That would make the most bi-partison and productive government's this country has ever seen. General Powel must be involved somehow. He is one of the wisest men in our country. He, I think is the center right that the majority of the country is.
The Florida number is disturbing to me as an Obama supporter. McCain regains his lead there when Barack and Hillary have been there this week and Colin Powell endorsed Obama? I sure hope that this will not be a 2000 repeat with Obama winning the pop vote and MCain winning the elctoral vote. Confident? Hell, no, I'm a bit worried.
I'm in Orlando FL, everyone here is going for Obama!!
OBAMA / BIDEN 08 & 12 FROM DAVIE, FLORIDA!!
Why this poll?  What's so special about it?  Every other Virginia poll I've seen for the past couple of weeks shows a much wider margin.  Why is it this one that you're reporting?
Don't worry...Bush has his SCOTUS ready to overturn the election results if things don't work out for the Palin-Mccain ticket
