Palin will cast her vote in the presidential election from her hometown of Wasilla before flying to Phoenix to join McCain for Election Night, according to a campaign official.

"Gov. Palin will return to Anchorage next Monday evening," McCain-Palin spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton said. "She will vote Tuesday morning in Wasilla before departing for Phoenix to join Sen. McCain for election night. ... Gov. Palin is very excited to return home to vote. Gov. Palin launched her public service career from Wasilla, and she will return there to cast her vote."

At least she will be home when the McRage/Palin ticket loses. That way she can get to work on taking Stevens place in the Senate. I can't beleive that she really thinks anyone would consider voting for her in 2012 for the Presidency??? I can't wait until TUE, my early vote went to Obama/Biden the real candidates for CHANGE.

Hey FR, why is it that KO is the only "journalist" to call out Palin on her BS in regard to the socialism claim. Why is it that it is only there that we see Palin saying how Alaska's resources belong to Alaskans. How Alaska reditributes their wealth to it's people. How Alaska is sometimes known as the socialist state. How she raised taxes on oil companies, (she calls that "taking on the oil companies") Why is this hypocrisy not being mentioned?

Did you know she is head of the first defence of this country. 49th Alaska Military Reserve, and frequently breifed on national security and homeland defence. Our defence missles based in Alaska are our 1st line of defence should we be attacked. I didn't know this ??? Obama and you people say she is inexperienced. I had a dream the other night and McCain won ! It was close and we didn't find out until the next day.

After the dream I was outside doing some yard work and this red balloon floated over the pool and stay around my back yard for awhile then disappeared. I truely hope and pray that was a sign that my dream the night before was true !

No idea why she is so excited to be returning to Alaska especially when they are backing Obama lol, she's been found guilty of abusing her powers as Governor, and her approval rating has dipped way down from two months ago. lol Personally I think she should save herself some time and energy and just stay put in Alaska since there won't be any celebration to attend Tuesday night. Bye Bye Sarah! Please, next time you even remotely contemplate doing something like this again, remember the outcome of this and just stay home!

I do not want to seem cynical but isn't that a waste of campaign resources and fuel? I mean she could mail an absentee ballot rather then flying there herself. Didn't someone from the McCain campaign complain that Obama was wasting money and fuel flying to Hawaii to see his sick grandmother?

Also, Governor Crist finally extended early voting hours after more then a week of 4 hour waits. I guess he did not want to be remembered as another Republican practicing voter suppression especially with the polls placing Florida further to the left.

When she is in Wasilla casting her vote, she should keep in mind how she herself boasts to have "spread the wealth" in Alaska, how she was found guilty of her abuse of power with loss of trust to the people with her own charges of ethical violations.

This world is changing whether conservatives refuse to jump on board or not. There is no room in the 21st century with traditional philosophies of the past that look out for selfish interests. We are a diverse world and nation. True conservatives cannot accept this change and would rather dictate, as the issue of pro-choice. While she is at it, she can keep in mind while she is voting that the world does not revolve around her and to learn the arts of separating church and state, professional and personal lives.

Sara you have an opportunity to show us you mean it when you say you wouldn't waste the taxpayers money! It is extremely expensive to have a jet fly you to Alaska from the East Coast and back for an overnight visit, just so you can get your photo taking casting a vote!

You may apply for an absentee by fax ballot beginning 15 days before election day through 5:00 p.m. Alaska Time the day before election day.

I guess if I had to go back to the frozen tundra of Alaska I would be looking for one last free airplane ride to somewhere warm too. The question that Alaska voters should be asking themselves is will their diva of a Governor double bill them for phony travel and lodging charges for herself and her family while "campaigning" at Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Barney's, and Bloomingdale’s?

I question whether a woman used to shopping at "Skins R Us" and "Acme Beaver & Moose Pelts" will be willing or even able to give up the good life that multimillionaires like John and Cindy McCain have exposed her to. After what attention seeking Sarah has seen and experienced in the other America will Wasila ever seem like the same to her? Will tracking Moose droppings in bone chilling cold ever have the thrill and excitement of having thousands of adoring fans shouting her name? Will the beloved aroma of working with her husband fishing even begin to compare to the fragrance counter at Bloomingdale’s?

I sincerely hope that most of the pundits are right and that Sarah Palin is the new face of the Republican Party and the leader in the race for the Republican presidential nomination for 2012. It will be an absolute blast to watch the other Republican candidates tear her apart. If she thinks the press and the democrats have been tough on her she hasn't seen anything yet. Wait until she gets swift boated and robo-called by her Republican colleagues. The next four years will be a comedians dream come true.
