So funny how the repugnant ones have pissed off every ethnic group except white supremacist religious nutcases.  I'm glad that Latinos have gotten smart that the repugnant ones do not do anything for them.  I bet even the log cabin republicans have jumped their sinking ship.

Yes We Did!
Si Se Pueda!
The reason for the Hispanic voters "decrease" in Florida is they left the state of Florida months ago, looking for employment.Just look at the public school enrollements, they are way down. Florida's economy is in the "pitts" ! Want to buy a home at a unbelievable price in Florida, please come on down.
I had that dream again last night, where George W. Bush flies in through the window, walks to my side and gently caresses my face. Ooh, I get butterflies just thinking about it!
Great another group that is angling for more pandering to; as if we don't have enough groups that say it is just about me!  We as a country need to understand what the problems that confront us together.  We all need to be Americans.

This is not to say that we shouldn't understand the needs of all the segments of the population, but there needs to be some limits.  I hope that all the groups (ethinic and religious and otherwise) have some representation in Congress.
Our Latino citizens are very hard working, and proud that they voted for economic change. They know that Obama has a lot to do, and will make decisions that will help all Americans. All of our citizens require equal representation in our Demorcracy, or it will not be politically effective. That is fact!
The selection of Barack Obama was truly historic and inspiring to most people of color.  If he does not let us down, perhaps even more Latinos will vote in the next election.

La Raza needs to truly believe in this democracy that has abused and neglected us for centuries.  We are discouraged by the anti-Latino immigrant movements that have been portraying us as a worse problem than real-life terrorists; and then all the immigrant-bashing in the media, and all the herding of hardworking immigrants out of the U.S. like cattle.

Perhaps President-Elect Obama can help restore our faith and trust in our government once again.  Most of us are very decent hardworking people who should be treated with the dignity and respect all Americans deserve.
