GOP's future: Palin back at work

Posted: Tuesday, November 18, 2008 9:18 AM by Mark Murray

The AP outlines some of Palin's challenges as she heads back to governing in Alaska. Among them: "Palin's state budget proposal is due in a month, with plummeting oil prices slashing Alaska's revenues by billions of dollars. The 1,700-mile natural gas pipeline she bragged about on the campaign trail ... is nowhere near being built. Some hard feelings linger over her administration's initial decision to ignore subpoenas in the investigation of whether she abused her power in firing the public safety commissioner who wouldn't oust her ex-brother-in-law from his job as a state trooper." And: "Uncertain is whether the bipartisanship that existed during Palin's 20 months as governor can survive the heated rhetoric from the presidential campaign and her own political ambitions."

Come on FR.  It's been nice and quiet lately.  No dizasta from Alaska postings!!!  I was in denial I guess thinking it would stay that way!!

Uncertain is whether the bipartisanship that existed during Palin's 20 months as governor can survive the heated rhetoric from the presidential campaign and her own political ambitions.

I think that politicians sometimes forget that people remember what they say.  Bipartisan administration or not, Palin said some pretty ugly things about Barack Obama specifically -- but Democrats in general.

I hope that Alaskans get smart and impeach the Wasilla Hillbilly for their own good.  She's as incompetent as they come and a grifter who finds ways to steal taxpayer money.

I can think of some good titles for her book.  How about "The Palin Lies" or "False Confessions" or 1001 Little Pieces".  Whatever the title it will be a work of pure fiction.

What an idiot book publisher to lay out so much money for so little product.  Oh well as they say a fool and his money soon go separate ways!

Impeach Palin!
Alaska as a state is run as good, if not better, then any other state. Take California, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio as examples of states that are in the dumpster. All thse states would kill to be in Alaska's position. But yet you meida types keep nit-picking at Palin for some unknown reason. Wait, Palin is a Republican while all the other states mentioned above are either run by Democrats or RINOs. Now it makes sense.
Palin was the most unqualified, least-knowledgeable, ignorant person ever to run for high office.

I hope she runs in 2012!
Give me a break. I've seen what "work" Palin is supposed to do. Any skid-row bum could do it.
Welcome home, Barbie!
Maybe you can arrange the wake for Uncle Ted!
We know you can talk out of both sides of your mouth - about nothing.
So how's you " fence mending" skills?
Finally, a point of departure for the "Diva" of the right-wing.

Now we need to move on to more pressing matters like the continued incompetence of Paulson, Bernanke, et al; and a flurry of lame-duck legislation from the Bush administration which is certain to accomplish absolutely nothing.

please stop with this newsmaker by appealing to the basest of the base. why not how hillarys' campaign manager and her husband are in line to bring democracy to south america in the name of exxon,coca-cola and merck sharpe and dohme.
Remember the lie Sarah lie chant?  Hurts when those lies bite back.
My father always told me when times are good anyone can be a good manager...its when times are bad that you get a real sense of someone's skills.  With falling revenues I'd like to see how this budget gets passed.
Throw the bum out!
Please keep "Puppet Palin" in Alaska where she can not in anyway harm our nation. To the voters of Alaska. Please try to pick another Governor ASAP. The "Dizzy Diva" needs to actually read books in all academic areas, and learn to comprehend cultural issues. How is "Travelgate" going for the "Dizzy Diva?" How is "Housegate" going for the "illiterate" one? Has anyone heard any updates yet? There is rumor that "Puppet Palin" is going to write a comic book, or is that a real book. The problem for her here, is that she has to be able to put two words together correctly first! What a joke! Time to move forward America!
Well let’s see Alaska voters, now that the spotlight has been on Sarah Failin, do you still want her as your governor. You found out that she doesn't have a basic understanding of how the U.S. senate works, she doesn't read, yet she is going to write a book, She ignored subpoena’s, and she came very close to saying that god speaks to her, and the biggest joke of all was when she said she has foreign policy experience because she can see Russia from her porch and that Puttin flies over Alaska on his way to D.C. If you are responsible voters, you have to be embarrassed of the image she has created for your state. Still think she is qualified to be Governor????  If you do then go for it.
Aw, the poor Gov....she has to go back to work for the people.....and face the music so to speak....what no camera's following her around?
A quote from Pat Buchanen :"Sara Palin is the future of the GOP"

Hey Pat, if she's the future of the GOP then they have no future! Please let up on the meds and start talking normal again!!!! Returning to the Nixon days is just not believable anymore!!!
