So while Sarah was in GA electrifying the base for Chambliss, she was STILL NOT IN JUNEAU (the capital of the state she's governor of), and hasn't been there since August. Yeah, she's a "rock star," alright. And hey, why is being a Repub "rock star" a GOOD thing? When the Repubs called Obama a "rock star" it was clearly meant to be a BAD thing. Hypocrites!

Sarah Palin a rock star???  In her own mind maybe.  Ms Palin needs to go back home to Alaska and stay put for a while.  Perhaps spend some time in the state capitol and govern for a change??  
The 2008 election made it clear that the far-right, evangelical fundamentalist movement is not going to win votes or influence friends.  Infact, that way of thinking is slowing being replaced by new generations who have grown up with a sense tolerance (of gays, of women's reproductive rights, etc.) and want to see equality, liberty and justice for all - not just those who have drunk the koolaid of Christian Fundamentalism.

It will be a difficult road, but people like Palin will have a significant and positive impact on the country. Sure, just watch the little retched liberals crawl out from under their slimy rocks to again attack Palin. They're scared to death of something, and with good reason. The liberals made Obama into a rock-star, and follow him around like the little puppies they are. No record, no ideas, no clues, no accomplishments, but still they follow him. Palin has a record, she has ideas, she has accomplishments, but that's not a good thing for liberals. Things like that frighten the little dears. Ignorance for liberals has no bounds.

I love the fact she just keeps on talking, In 2 years time when she runs for Gov again everyone will know her. Shes not exactley a keeper. She is as dumb as a rock. He was asked to step down so the administration could bring in some new blood and he agreed. In fact it was Obama himself who made sure Lieberman was not treated unfairly due to his support of McCain. It's a well documented fact Stacy. You should inform yourself before passing judgement.

Let's examine those, Ted.  She has ideas, like the VP runs the Senate, and that sharing a maritime border and being able to see Russia from her house counts as international experience...she has accomplishments, like getting the state to pay for the travel for her kids to events in which they were not invited, she just decided to drag them along on the company dime.

And let's not forget that she went from calling Obama a socialist one day to a fascist a day later.  Well, which is it, you can't be both.  She was just throwing out anything she could left and right in a desperate attempt to compensate for how badly she weighed down the ticket.

And a person who runs a state that gives oil company money to all its citizens once a year *cannot* complain about someone else wanting to redistribute wealth.  She may be from Alaska, but I can smell the hypocracy from here.

REG from Arizona I completely agree with you.  I watched the clip from the Gov's meeting and I don't have a clue what this woman is talking about, however I find it ironic that she is there with her hand out for government to help her state.  What did she call it? "spreading the wealth".  But she already accomplished that by paying Alaska residents oil revenues.  Wonder what she's going to do now.  Oil closed yesterday at below $50.00 a barrel.  

From what I understand - her numbers are way down in Alaska - and if she doesn't get back there and get something done, she will not win re-election for anything.  Let her keep talking as that will cause her demise.  Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Yes, the Republican Party was the party of Lincoln who freed the slaves. Don't kid yourself into thinking that the Republicans of the day loved people of color any more than the Democrats did. Even Lincoln tried to get them shipped to other countries but few had the ability or the desire to take them. The Republican Party came out of a failed Whig Party and a few disgruntled Democrats most of whom were Northerners who did not own slaves and who felt slavery was wrong. Of course they were correct. They didn't, however, want anything to do with the former slaves which is why the poorest of the poor are still people of color.

I thought the neocons were calling Obama a celebrity like it was a bad word - even though they bow down to their own celebrities and even elect them into office i.e. the terminator and Freddie Thompson.
