Captain Kirk?!?
I hope Obama steps up the number of news conferences he has once he's sworn in. One a day really isn't enough. 3-4 a day would be more what is needed. Then, in the evening during prime time, Obama can come on tv for a couple of hours and preach to us.
Congratulations to Savannah Guthrie and Chuck Todd on their promotions.  It is very gratifying to see that NBC recognizes telent especially in Chuck Todd.  Although I was disappointed that Chuck wasn't taking over Meet the Press, this promotion gives me hope.
Again, congratulations to you both.
My former Mayor will be a great USTR. I was hoping he would have got Transportation or HUD. You're no southerners tag was wrong even before Kirk. Austan Goolsbee is from Texas as well.
kirk from texas and solis from cali. to good picks with experience and change in policy direction a must in their minds.
Every well educated person I know, voted for Obama in the election (my sisters supported Clinton in the primaries and my brother voted for the Libertarian candidate, but he is nuts.) However, I know many very nice, kinda clueless people who voted for McCain
------------------------------------------------------So what you're saying is every smart person you know voted for Obama and every clueless person you know voted McCain.  Interesting.  I suggest you go to howobamagotelected.com, watch the short video, and tell us what you think after you watch it.
Congratulations, Chuck Todd on your new assignment. You have earned our respect and clearly the respect of the network. All the best at the White House.
Charlotte -Every well educated person I know, voted for Obama in the election .

I have a phd in physics, and I voted for McCain. But then again, you don't know me. But something tells me you probably know only one or two "educated" people.
