Moseley Braun on former seat

Posted: Tuesday, December 30, 2008 5:34 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC's Domenico Montanaro
Former Amb. Carol Moseley Braun demurred when asked by First Read for her take on the situation surrounding her former Senate seat, including today's press conference.

"I haven't done politics since I came back from New Zealand," said Braun, adding that she isn't even following what's happening with the seat. "I don't even go there. I call myself a recovering politician. And political questions mess with my recovery."

Was pleasantly surprised to see a recent update on her, she was farming of all things, looked very relaxed and happy.

Good for her. Happy New Year Everyone

Roland only has said... Yes. Illinois has no senator and the country has to much wrangling to do. Roland should be seated until 2010. Then the people of IL can speak. But, for now it doesn't seem to matter. Understand, B-Rod is trying to save his life, wife and children he is going to be impeached and is going to join the other tainted politicans.  The people will see B-Rod has been watching too many old scar-face DVDs.

B-Rod...
Resign
It's time
Your mind is in another planet
B-Rod you are not understanding
B-Rod you should know to resign for what
Because you're all shook up

Carol Moseley Braun - another Illinois Democratic politician on the take (there are so many, you really need a program to keep up). Carol of course "forgot" to pay some taxes along the way while she was Senator.
Carol should be in jail. Tax evasion. That's where a regular Joe would have ended up if he did what Braun did.
Did First Read ask the good former Senator from Illinois if she's located the unaccounted $249,000 from her campaign funds, other then in her personal accounts? And has she contacted her good friend George Will lately?
The last time I checked a person is considered innocent untill proven guilty. Just because he is accused does not mean he is guilty. I believe he probably is guilty but untill the case is heard by a judge everyone needs to chill out and let due process run its course. If accusations are all it takes to allow us to bend or break the rules. Then let us call ourselves facists or anything but a democracy because we are destroying the foundations and the princples that this great country was built on.How is Blago going to get an fair trial I think he has not a chance in this country. I believe even blago deserves his day in court before we are so quik to judge.Don't you? Thank You
