Paterson to make decision Fri. or Sat.?

From NBC's Mark Murray
NBC's Andrea Mitchell just spoke with New York Gov. David Paterson, who she reports will make a decision to fill Hillary Clinton's Senate seat on Friday or Saturday.

For a while, we thought Paterson might be making his announcement on air in his interview with NBC's Mitchell, but we quickly realized he was joking. "I have reached a decision. I thought that since there are just 17 women in the Senate... I am going to go with Michelle Obama."

Har-har.

Everyone is so excited to get rid of the Howdy Dowdy, in addition to ushering a the new era of an African American President. Those of you accusing me of making a racist statement, may I suggest you come into the 21st century. Maybe you could read the history of America starting with the American Revolution African American fought in it. Crispus Attucks was the first to receive a bullet from the British. When you do pay special attention to the pre-civil war, reconstruction, Jim crow, the civil rights movement. Better yet, you can all skip the history

If you're this mis-informed you have no right voting. The libs spewed nothing but bile after both of Bush's victories (and they still haven't stopped). Beverly in Chicago,
Doug you asked...Where have you been these past eight years the bashing of Bush started before he was inaugerated on his first election and has continued ever since. Are You telling me those weren't Bush haters. It sound like to me a double standard as long as it not a Democrate being bashed it open season.

I want the 2 of you to know I voted for a winner!
Plus, Yes, it true. I do bash Georgie boy. But, deservedly so. Obama hasn't even been inaugurated; yet those who are bashing him haven't even given him a chance. Bush took US to the top of a  steppe, precipitous, cliff; without any concern about this cliffhanger. At least most people who were dissatisfied  did so due to 2 perceived stolen elections.
My point is Bush's accomplishment have been mired with lies about Iraq, 2 unfinished wars , secrecy,  a failed economy, 11 million  lost their jobs, (e.g. 7.2 %, a 16-year high) torture, a trillion dollar deficit after inheriting a surplus from the Clinton adminstration, the destruction of American civil liberties  e.g.(shredding the Constitution ), ignoring global warming and the environment, and don't forget his slow murky response to Katrina. Bush is leaving with a legacy  as one of our nation's most unpopular and divisive presidents indicated by polls. Of course, it's even obvious to millionaires the economy has taken a downward toll. 401(k)s have now become  201(k)s.

So yes my affirmation of Bush bashing is NO JOKE.

Beverly in Chicago continues to justify her hate of Bush and somehow thinks it's reasonable.  But reading her comments makes me realize she gets her info from such informed, impartial sources as Keith Olbermann so it's not her fault she's so ignorant.  And Bush-bashers, you should thank President Bush.  If he hadn't been a disappointing president, no one would have taken a chance on a clueless, inexperienced rookie like Obama.
Where is Sasha and Malia in all this pomp and circumstance?  Great coverage.
Theresa, if that's an admission of incompetence (and it sure as hell looks like one), welcome to the light!

______________

Right and people like Rush and Hannity are known for "fair and balanced" reporting.  Get over yourself already.

So, when the Obama hate starts, will you say it is unreasonable, or show your double standard?  I'm guessing I already know the answer to that.
Why should he bother?  Andrea Mitchell already decided it's Caroline Kennedy.
Thank God he was joking about Michelle. I thought at the moment of transition this guy was getting high.
