Downballot: Coleman’s luck improves

Posted: Friday, February 27, 2009 9:14 AM by Domenico Montanaro

MINNESOTA: The Star Tribune: “Norm Coleman's luck improved a bit Thursday, as judges in the U.S. Senate recount trial ordered an inspection of about 1,500 rejected absentee ballot envelopes and changed their minds about letting a Coleman witness testify. The ballot inspection could lead to counting more votes, something Coleman needs, if local officials discover voter registration cards in the ballot secrecy envelopes of voters whose ballots were rejected for lack of registration. But there's no assurance how the votes would divide between the candidates.”

Still, Chuck Schumer predicts Al Franken will be seated “by the very beginning of April.”

How does Chuck Schumer know whats going on in Minnesota? What is it with Schumer, he doesn't get enough face time with the cameras from being a NY Senator. Now he has to hone in on other states actions?
Too little too late to save coleman from his inevitable defeat.  Just more wasted time that keeps Minnesota underrepresented in the Senate.

Seat Senator Al Franken Now!
chuck who, oh he the one who says american love pork and dont give a hoot about there wasteful spending...Now he making predictions, this guy is all show and when ever he gets a chance to get tv time or news time he takes it....Again everyone get a 1lb of bacon and send him some....Between him pelosi, Reid, maverick, Graham, Barney Frank no wonder were in the mess we are.....My prediction for you mr Schumer you wont make the next election.
Who's paying for all these trials?
ASSUMING ALL 1500 votes are counted Norm Coleman would have to capture 58% of the vote just to overcome Franken's lead. He only captured 43% in the election. This also excludes the 40 something odd votes that are likely to include by the ECC. So Colemans odds are terrible and this is likely a huge waste of time and money. Colemans recent comments about a revote are a clear indication that he is not confident about overcoming Franken's lead and wants a do over. Coleman lost a close vote, a very thorough recount was conducted with conservatives, independents included and he lost. Time for him to do the right thing and end this frivolous lawsuit and give Minnesota its Senate Seat

________

April 2047 at this rate.
Coleman will win, no one wants to see the Demonicrats steal another election with ACORN carrying the voter fraud votes. Frankin is a big bumba-s, he was never funny nor smart , and we need real people in congress to remove the illegal alien Obama and send him back to Kenya where he was born or Indonesia sinnce he still is a Mulsim citizen! I bet ACORN stole 2.5 million votes through voter fraud across the nation, and OBAMA gave the 8.5 billion dollars in the Pork/stealing America blind/stimulus package to ACORN (YIKES)! Coleman wins by 1800 plus votes. Schummer should be in jail when he tanked the Indy Mac Bank right on que with Soros tanking the entire countries net worth by 1.5 trillion on sept 16 2008 to get Obama elected and now is trying to steal a senate seat! I call for Obama/Barry Soetoro (Google this name up), Schummer Sorors to be  removed as economic terrorists!  Frankin would even further Obamas Marxist Dictatorship, by being an Obamas B-tt boy slave!
