Mr. President - Attorney General Eric Holder said some detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, may end up being released in the U.S. as the Obama administration works with foreign allies to resettle some of the prisoners.

Will you tell us where in the US those prisoners will be released? And could you have them released in East LA, we think that's the best place for us to take of the problem.
Mr. President,

What are your thoughts on the education reform being put in place by Hugo Chavez in Venezula?
Ask him if the public option is a "must-have" in any healthcare bill. It was part of his proposal as a candidate but it was not included in the broad outline he layed out before Congress in his budget.

Thanks.
With so many Americans out of work, what guarantee do we have that the new jobs the stimulus is suppose to create will go to American citizens and not illegal migrants who work far less than we can afford to.
Do you think you will be successful in convincing the lawmakers and the American people that we desperately need to invest in our country for long term prosperity and security?  That our country's economy needs to be based on the work of people, not an economic bubble?  Godspeed
Do I look fat in this dress?
What will you do when Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, John  Ashcroft, and Don Rumsfeld are arrested and removed to The Hague for war crimes trials?
President Obama, what can we as Americans do to help get the economy going?  Without shopping.
FYI to Stan Goulte.
The question to be asked was for President Obama NOT Russ Limbaugh.
How long does it take to fill out an NCAA bracket sheet?

Per Rush and other idiots, the whole world is going to fall apart because you spent, what, 10 minutes on this??
After reading some of these blogs, are you sure you want to remain President?  Remmember, you have to be the "nit-wit"s President also!  I think you doing a wonderful job. God bless you and THANKS!!!
Yo FR, Too many posters missed the "Click here" and posted their q dierectly on FR!

Mr Obama why didn't you just go directly to Hollywood for all the attention you demand?  You didn't have to be president and mess up the country just to inflate your ego.  You really aren't doing the job.
Hey Obie:

Listen up, dude. You and me in a game of one on one.
First to score 30 wins and the winner gets to vote MSierra off First Read forever.

After that, we talk about our differences in a civil and non-confrontational manner. Then we have dinner at a five-star and you tell me how much you really like Palin and that Geithner was something you wish you could do over.

Here for the party and best wishes,

Do you think PT Wiggins is a jackass?
I would ask President Obama if he is in favor of congressional maneuvers that would allow the Democratic majority to pass legislation with absolutely no Republican support. I am of the FIRM belief that legislation produced by either party on a purely partisan level is bad for the country. The beauty of America is the integration of ideas from across the political spectrum. Of course not everyone agrees on everything, but with a purely partisan vote, from either party, there will inevitably be blowback from the other side. To move the country forward on the issues that define us a nation such as healthcare, energy, education, etc., there MUST be some sort of concensus, else history will record the partisan failure. I feel very strongly about this issue, and I hope with all my being that Congress will not travel this questionable path.
Mr. President, Could you tell me exactly what good $13.00 a week is going to do for me.Where is the $1000.00 check I was promised. Why couldn't you have just left the stimulus check in place that we were getting? At least in a lump sum you could do something with it.
And have you thought about the fact that you have done everything that McCain said he would do and you made fun of him?
Legalize pot HERE, and stop a lot of the DRUGWAR madness in Mexico through market forces. Comments Mr. President?
Mr. Resident!

Now that you have done a one-eighty and claim the U.S. economy is strong, will you move to repeal your gargantuan pork barrel spending project dubed the "stimulus" plan and stop committing fiscal child abuse on America's future generations?

And as a follow up:  Why do you hate freedom so much?
Mr. Todd

I would love to have someone ask the President if he thinks it is fair to take TAX Payers money to give Federal Employees a 3.0 % raise and Military Personnel a 3.5% raise while at the same time take away the bonuses of AIG employees  paid for by TAX Payer money for doing their job, which I assume is the same reason the Federal Employees are given a raise.
I would like to ask the president why the stimulus bill was never presented for review. and also a follow up question. There has been 15 billion in earmarks approved i would think that money would do a lot for americans who are in serious trouble, so why does washington come first.

Mr Obama....how can you justify living in the white with all the Fine dining and fancy foods ...while average americans voted for you to be an every day kinda Guy ....i thought maybe One nanny to help out ...but nooooo....so much for the Changes you talked about in washington ...i guess White House changes  is above your laws ....Robert ps excuse my frankness
Some of these questions are downright nasty.  How did we get to be so mean?

Jesse from St. Paul, did it ever occur to you that perhaps Chuck wants to make sure the President answers the questions that the people want answered, rather than that he can't think of any questions of his own?  How did we get to be so mean?
Mr President,

When do you think the health care issues will star to be resolved so that all americans can hope to live a healthy life. I have health insurance theorugh my job, but have concerns about when I retire which will be within the next ten years?
How we can prevent our country from Greeds of Wallstreet ...don't you think they our economy and national security at risk..they should be punish
Mr President,

How long do you anticipate before there will be new regulations for Wall St, Banks, Insurance Companies, etc. that will prevent "bubbles" in the future?  And since we now know that 20% growth year after year is unsustainable, what do you see as "sustainable" growth?
CHUCK I HOPE YOU KNOW YOU'RE DISRESPECTING THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WITH THESE STUPID QYESTIONA SOME RACISM AND TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR NEVER THE LESS PRESIDENT  OBAMA IS THE PERSON TO DO THE JOB AND TRY TO CLEAN UP THIS MESS THAT WAS ALLOWED TO GOING ON WHEN PRESIDENT BUSH WAS IN OFFICE AND YOU NEVER ASK THESE QUESTION OF HIM I SENSE A LOT OF BIAS AGAINST THE PRESIDENT LIKE HE SAID HE IS THE PRESIDENT AND CAN TAKE THE RASH AND CRAP YOU PEOPLE ARE THROW AT HIM WE STAND WITH HIM.
Mr. President, when will you address the constant criticism thrown at you by a media that is controlled by GOP leaning, right wing, tax cut for the rich, rush limbaugh followers and of course, myself, Chuck Todd?
How does it make you feel, Mr. President, when the media is critical of you filling out a NCAA bracket on ESPN, or appearing as a guest on Leno?  The economic problems are so important, they say, and you are supposed to be working, not doing anything fun.  Marlene in Mich

White House change in plan

After the veterans community and members of Congress expressed great concern over a White House plan to bill private insurance companies for veterans’ health care, the commander in chief did an about-face.
:: A short-lived proposal

===================================================
My Question:  Mr. President, if you would reach so low to cut costs --- WHY DON'T YOU BILL THE MEXICAN GIVERNMENT FOR THE TAXPAYER MONEY BEING SPENT PROVIDING HEALTH CARE AND SOCIAL SERVICES TO THE 10 MILLION ILLEGAL MEXICAN IMMIGRANTS IN OUR COUNTRY?
Thanks, Chuck, for this opportunity. With all the talk lately about taxes, I got to wondering why it was years ago, that we lost the priviledge of claiming interest we pay on our credit cards, car loans etc. on our income tax and if there would ever be a time we would be able to do that again. We have to add any interest we earn on our tax returns, but get no credit for interest we pay. Also, I want to tell President Obama how thrilled I am with the job he is doing and that he is just such a breath of fresh air to this country. Thank you
Why has Washington allowed 23 bailed out companies to get away with owing back taxes dating back to 2004?

How can this problem have been ignored by Washington for 5 years?  Washington's only job is to protect Americans.  That means protecting us both physically and financially.
Let Joe the plumer ask the ?????'s
What can be done about insurance companies getting big profits on our healthcare?  If we cut out the insurance companies, doesn't that leave more money for the medical care providers and institutions and research?
