"Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin went on the attack Saturday, after Levi Johnston, the baby daddy of her first grandchild, revealed all sorts of family secrets on an episode of 'The Tyra Banks Show' to be aired Monday," the New York Daily News writes. Some of the statements: From a Palin family rep: "It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well-being of the child... We're disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration and even distortion of their relationship."

Video: Levi Johnson's appearance on the talk show may pose political hurdles for Palin.

On the show Levi says he's "pretty sure" Sarah Palin "probably knew" he and Bristol were intimate. He goes into detail complaining about Bristol, calling her "short" and not wanting him around. Levi's sister says they were snubbed the day the baby was born, not being allowed into the hospital, though the Palins' extended family was there. And his sister also said he was forced to go to the Republican National Convention, and that he wanted to go hunting. "It's time that we get our story out there," he said.

It's rather obvious that Sinner Sarah forced her daughter to cut it off with Levi because she's more interested in her worthless political career over family values. This disgusting excuse of a governor should be impeached and ignored. I think it's funny that Levi and Bristol made a joke of Sinner Sarah's abstinence only nonsense.

I really hope that Senator McCain will become honest with all of us about why he would pick the Alaskan hillbilly and her brood for VP. I have always had respect for McCain until that, it seemed cynical at the time, a way to try to make the GOP look more inclusive, but surely there were better qualified women in that party.

No one is "worried" about Sarah running for President. What we are is "appalled" that such a blazing hypocrite is held up as the "real American" by the increasingly delusional Republican base. It was pretty darn obvious that Bristol and Levi were never going to get married, and that the whole charade at the RNC in Minneapolis was just a way of pretending that Palin's family were the diehard Christians that their press kit said they were. If you count the sheer volume of angry, shrill, chip on the shoulder press statements Palin has given in 6 months, we as a country should be thankful that such a paranoid, vindictive, sociopath didn't win the election.

This is a despicable move on the part of Levi Johnston (and Tyra Banks for that matter), and people who find pleasure in this should be ashamed of themselves and grow up. Your hate for Sarah Palin should not serve to encourage these kinds of statements on the part of an opportunistic ex-boyfriend. And please, spare me any comments that Sarah Palin should expect the public spotlight. This isn't about Sarah Palin...it's about her daughter and an innocent child being exploited to gain notoriety for an insignificant little boy. I believe the young man - It was quite apparent during the campaign that there were some really "shady" things going on with the Palins. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, despite the fact that I was an Obama supporter. I tried to be fair and open-minded about her candidacy. But as a working mother, one of which was handi-capped {blind}I
saw too many contridictions in her approach to reach
her political goals. With that said, "bashing" Sarah Palin is not the goal - "keeping it real" and calling her out for her hypocrisy and inept political abilities is no different than the the manner in which the GOP particularly, is viciously attacking and underminding our President as he attempts to get our nation back on track. What is astonishing in all this is while Sarah Palin had to "come clean" quickly about her pregnant daughter when John McCain chose has VP candidate, she said they were going to "get married" -- yeah, right! Well... it didn't. Can you just imagine -- yeah, Sarah gets "elected," and then we have this dumb teenage "I don't wanna be a husband/daddy" living in the WH with Bristol as Sarah tries to do her "job"? The Media would FIXATE on them and NOTHING would EVER get done. Maybe the media, according to you, is being good to him being he has earned their respect. Really, this gal is the Republican's greatest blunder since Joe McCarthy. Yes, she is attractive (even I get stuck there) and totally delivered at the Republican convention. That' it folks. Everything since is a liability which she is leveraged with more than most of our failed banks.

The child out-of-wedlock thing is no big deal. The fact the child has two high school dropouts for parents and a grandmother considering a presidential run is. What message does this convey? Seems to me that this is important for only 1 reason. If this kid was actually having sexual relations in the home of the Palin's it speaks a lot about the Governor's ability to manager her own family while being in a political position of power. This alone blows a lot of holes in the credo of Sarah and other fundamentalist wackos. Without the scenario of her willfully looking the other way while her daughter boffs the local football hottie, she can still try, as she did last year, to make the weak argument that of course she believes in sex only within marriage, but as soon as a "life" is conceived, she also believes in seeing that pregnancy to completion. Thereby reconciling (sort of) two near-contradictory precepts that Fundies hold dear.

But as soon as it's shown that she KNEW they were boffing and did nothing to stop it, that ruse falls like a house of cards, exposing her inner hypocrisy and bald political opportunism. Which is it, Sarah? You can't have it both ways.
