From NBC's Mark Murray
Terry McAuliffe's gubernatorial campaign announced today that former President Bill Clinton will campaign for McAuliffe on Monday, April 27 in Richmond and Roanoke.

"We're thrilled to have President Clinton join Terry on the campaign trail," McAuliffe campaign manager Mike Henry said in a statement. "As a former governor and close friend of Terry's, he'll talk with Virginians about why Terry is best suited to turn Virginia's economy around. And as America's last great job-creating president, he'll help make the case as to why Terry will be Virginia's next great job-creating governor."

Wow, Bill campaigning for Terry!  His former chief fundraiser, the person he appointed head of the DNC!

In other, shocking, news, the sun rose in the east this morning!
Boy, I'm just going to watch and see if Virginians will elect this guy!  That will say more about the electorate than about the guy himself.
Two crooks, together

Cold, Calculating, Unethical, Dishonest, Divisive

Go for a trifecta, get Al Gore on board !!!

“Haven't you guys finished you coffee yet?  Where are the posts?”  no joe, no bo, nj (Sent Wednesday, April 22, 2009 10:26 AM)

Go easy on ‘em, I think they must have staff meetings on Wednesdays, it seems consistent the Wednesdays are occupied by other priorities.

Wow even though Clinton's outsourcing of torture to Egypt and Syria damaged our image around the world and caused the attacks of 9-11? Then you have Clinton's Rubinomics that wiped out people's life savings around the world. Well people with the exception of the rich hedge fund buddies of democrats who seem to be having a very good crisis. Well that takes a lot of nerve. Good luck with that.
McAuliffe's money is a big deal, but nothing beats Bill Clinton on the trail.

We all expected him to get lout there for his friend. No shocker...

I have this funny feeling that Terry will not make it to the Governor's mansion.  Why?  He fought hard for Hillary, perhaps too hard.  Remember the superdelegates and attempting to change the ground rules so Hillary could win. It would be like David Axelrod or David Plouffe running in Va.  Some Hillary supports could find it hard to support the campaign chairman.  Too much baggage.  Just a thought.
Every notice that 9 times out 10, Billy C. backs the losing candidate?
Feed the ball to Kobe....,

Virginians aren't stupid and won't elect that idiot, McAuliffe.  He was a terrible head of the DNC, an insider's insider, a douche as campaign staff for both Clintons, and generally just a guy who is willing to throw around other people's money (he is a good fund raiser!) to obtain another undeserved position for himself.  He's not even Virginian.  I used to live in Virginia and still have family there.  Mcauliffe will be defeated and all the money from outside of Virginia from Clinton friends being thrown at him will be for naught.
I was in VA two weeks ago for 3 days (Alexandria area, Wytheville and Newport News) and everyone I had chance to talk with(family and stangers) was denying they voted for Obama and the Democrats.

I lived there for 14 years and Democrats were always the outsiders. Clinton was never well received that I can remember.

It will be very interesting to see if the Obama impact/effect in what he has done so far will cause change in that area.
Good Luck Terry.  Please tell me why Clinton chose to hand out with Bush.  Does the Decider think that Canada will treat him better if he is with Bill? NOT!

FR/MSNBC, just for laughs, stage a Smackdown of the Analysts.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, on the Left we have Lawrence O'Donnell representing Truth and Facts, and on the Right we have Pat Buchanan representing Lies and Spin".

Pick a Moderator such as Ed Schultz or Rachel Maddow!
Time limits on each, with questions from recent headlines.  ----15 minute Smackdown!!!!
So "Macker"'s out of state millions isn't buying the seat.  I guess its to be expected that Clinton would stump for somone who raised millions for him, but its certainly disappointing and I hope will be ineffective.  Let's face it Terry, you don't have the experience and people read you as a carpetbagger.
Billy BJ Clinton should have some fond memories being that close to the oval office again with a little ridin dirty blue dress episode he lied about, under oath to all America, don't you think?

Go Bulls Beat Boston
Despite what some people think, President Clinton is still very popular. Like it, or like him, or not that seems to be the way it is. President Reagan was popular and still is amongst those who tended to agree with him on most issues. So with Bill Clinton supporting another Democratic candidate it shouldn't surprise anyone and shouldn't even be considered news.
This is breaking news......Not......The man kissed Clinton's azz for 8 yrs. Its a habit.
I suspect it won't help. Virginia went overwhelmingly for Obama in the primary, and my gut feeling was because it really wanted a Democrat but not a Clinton. Just a hunch.

McAuliffe probably had an uphill battle as it was. We tend to find our candidates from in state. I suspect Virginians will see McAuliffe as someone who is maybe more interested in things besides fixing our transportation budget, etc. The news last week that McAuliffe had a lot of out-of-state donors already has people raising eyebrows.

Hardly aany of you are from virginia so why in the heck are you opposing someone that is running here, why dont you all go oppose someone in your own state ya bunch of morons
Virginians see McAuliffe as a carpetbagger! However, he has the most money and will probably win the primary. In the long run he is better than McDonnell who is supported by Pat Robertson.
Daniel,

I doubt you talked to a representative sample of the Virginia electorate. Nice try!
Msierra, i think you are a little cofused. Those guys are democrats, not republicans.
