I am not a Palin supporter but felt that Dave's comments about her "slutty" airline hostess remark and her daughter getting knocked up by ARod were not funny and a bit crude. But the fact is she is a public figure, who loves to parade her family around so she shouldn't be surprised that she and her family become the butt of jokes. What is more freightening is how this woman can be seen as the hope of the republican party. Her understanding of the issues are pathetic, but then so is Eric Cantor and the Republicans. How can these Republicans make nonsensical statements and not get called for it. Cantor yesterday said America is now at threat because Obama brouht a terrorist out of Gitmo to NYC for trial.What is their anser- keep them locked up in Gitmo for eternity?

What is wrong with dirty old men who think this kind of thing is funny? What if someone said something like that about his mom? or some young woman in his family? Or his wife?? This kind of thing is despicable and needs to stop. I hope nothing like he describes ever happens close to his family. I believe Letterman is cutting edge and is perhaps the funniest late night person ever to be show cased on television.  He's a comedian and you can't take things in a literal way...so lighten up america!

But...to all of the morons on here dressing her down for having used her children for political props and for her political gain, I have to ask you...did you watch the Obama special during the campaign that focused on his children?

Hmmmm...I'm sure you'd say something like "that wasn't him using his family members as props.  That was just showing him as a devoted family man.  That was completely different.  He'd never do something like showcase his children in a prime time special during his run for the Whitehouse.  Blah, blah, blah..."

The joke was about Alex Rodriguez.

And it was about Palin's underage daughter's notoriety for being 'knocked up' out of wedlock.

What ever happened to class? Where is the humor in making rude, classless comments about someones daughter?  David Letterman is a loser and is NASTY to his guests.  I watched him for a while and didn't find anything funny about him or his show.  The people on this comment page need to look in the mirror and keep NASTY comments to themselves.  Gov. Sarah Palin is A Great Governor, and a firm believer in the people's needs and wants and is not out for BIGGER TAXES and paying for free loaders off the government. Everytime I hear the toilet flush I think of President OBAMA and what is happening in the United States of America. OOPS there is goes again!
