PETA: Obama not 'Buddha'

President Obama
, as we saw in CNBC's John Harwood's interview, would hurt a fly.

Barely Political has some fun with it, likening Obama to a "Ninja" and sees his cold-blooded Karate chop as a threat to North Korea.

Video: During an interview at the White House with CNBC's John Harwood, President Obama shows a fly buzzing around him who's boss.

But guess who doesn't think the president's so zen or enlightened? Well, you probably guessed: PETA.

"He isn't the Buddha," PETA president Ingrid Newkirk said in a statement. "He's a human being, and human beings have a long way to go before they think before they act."

But think upon this ancient proverb: Let, he who has never swatted a fly, cast the first whack.

I didn't vote for Obama and how he will do may not be know for 5 or 10 years.  I am just so happy that he killed the fly.  My wife was a big supporter of PETA and now she sees why I agree with some of that they do but never give time or money because they go so, so far out of the box.  Give me a friggin' break. They are as screwed up as the ACLU.
We thought that was pretty cool that he got the fly on the first shot. This is a skill. Is he gonna be kind to the curious and tell us all how he did that?
we will start questioning President Obama with a skeptical tone after we have gotten complete answers to every question we asked of the last administration; they are still stonewalling the world.
Get a life PETA.  Flies are nasty and carry germs, get over this mess, everyone including your members kill flies, either with bug spray or a fly swatter.
Obama isn't Buddha?  DUH, he is a christian.  He is The Christ come again!  I heard it hear first, and over and over again.  "Come let MSNBC adore him . . ."

biden isn't Buddha either, he is the second coming of Dan Quayle
PETA is a joke of an organization that I would love to slap.  If they get angry over flys, come out to my place I will have the bug zapper set on high and watch the little buggers fry.

Oh and by the way, I am happy with Obama, and will definitly vote for him again.  I wish he could run for more terms.
