More on Clinton's fracture

President Obama called Secretary of State Clinton last night -- he was one of first to call -- after she fractured her elbow, according to the State Department.

She fell in the basement of State Department on her way to her car around 5 p.m. She was with Af/Pak envoy Richard Holbrooke, and they were heading to the White House for a meeting.

They went back to her office to get examined, and then went to the hospital after that. It appears a simple fracture, and she is working from home.

No decision has been made on whether she will travel next week. She is supposed to go to Greece and Italy at end of next week. But she is scheduled for surgery next week.

Also, Bill and Chelsea Clinton are in D.C. now with her -- they came in last night.

When Obama got a hold of Hillary, he asked "What exactly do you do again?"
Sotomayor breaks her ankle, Hilary breaks her elbow and Obama breaks a thousand promises to his base. Hmmmm. What's going on here?
Maybe now Hillary will get that drinking problem resolved.
So are bill and hillary seperated?

Get well Hillary, sorry about your accident.
Drunk? Stoned? You make the call.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Secretary Clinton.
Don't trust anyone over 30.
Get well, and mend real soon,  We love U  Hill. And to: Let it be - from an earlier post,> you were right on the money, honey.  Why does Mitt & other repub politicans want to run for pres, when they believe the economy will only recover by private capitalism % no gov. regulations. "Bush tried that & it didn't work.
Was that Hillary's "kill'n" elbow?
from another thread @

I can see why Hillary faked her elbow injury. Getting on a stage with Angelina Jolie would be like comparing a dream boat to a ship wreck.

Brenda F., Lynn in MA;

Why don't you fake something? Something like you have a brain; and are an intelligent and empathetic woman. Hillary and Sotomayer are leading the vanguard for stupid innuendos like yours  to be discarded. Be a real woman and try it again once you pick up the right clue. Hillary and Sotomayer are doing an excellent job that will enable you, whether you fall or not, you'll be able to stand on your own two feet.

Best wishes and speedy recovery.  Simple fractures are simple unless it is you; its still painful and you need to learn to do things all over again.  She is a strong woman and will do fine I am sure.
Such nasty comments from some people boggles the mind.

Hillary was leaving State building at 5PM...after a hard days work. And was on her way to another meeting..more work on behalf of USA citizens. So please refrain from the drinking and drunk comments..as it makes you look rather silly 12 little steps and Bill.
Hillarey and Bill are not seperated Peoples Mag and if you were on the ball you would know...both are working very hard for the USA and all its people.

Speedy recovery, take care, and stay safe Hillary,

She fell and broke something? Okay where is that ambulance chacing attorney? She can sue the government and make a bundle. Hey, they money could pay off her campaign debt and leave a little left over for her and Bill to have a nice dinner and night on the town. Isn't that how we make lots of money these days? Well, it is for some people and certainly for "injury attorneys".
Wow. Clinton breaks an elbow and the majority of comments are negative and even nasty. What's up with right wingers? Lose your heart? Ever have one?
You could show a modicum of compassion. But I guess that's not your style.
