"The National Republican Congressional Committee collected $3.24 million in the month of May, allowing the cash-strapped committee to continue to cut down its debt. The NRCC spent about $3.2 million in May and ended the month with $3.7 million cash on hand. The committee also knocked down its debt to $4 million -- $1 million less than at the end of April."

NEW JERSEY: Politico jumps into the NJ governor's race: "The election is still five months away, but one thing is already clear about the race between New Jersey Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine and Republican challenger Chris Christie: It’s going to be ugly."

NEW YORK: Chaos in Albany: "State senators made a bold move Thursday to end their paralyzing stalemate: They packed up and went home. After yet another fruitless negotiating session -- which almost came to blows -- the battling pols got out of Dodge to enjoy their long weekend. But not before making sure they got paid."

We must hold this state by any means necessary.
It is the NJ GOVERNOR's race not the SENATE race
Ofcourse the election race in New Jersey is going to be ugly, it has a repugnant one in the race.  Hopefully Corzine will triumph in the end.

We can see how the evil elephant party works in New York, they pack up and go home for a long weekend but not before passing Go and collecting too much money.

I'm glad that the NRCC is having money problems, serves these crooks right after what they did bankrupting our country.
doesn't matter anyway ... people will keep voting "R" and "D" in election after election as we continually deteriorate as a nation.
I'm more glad than ever I've voted Nader.
"But not before making sure they got paid"

Should not get paid - didn't do anything.

They work for you NY, fire them, all of them.
It's hard to accept for many libs on this blog, especially the hardcore ... and also the hi-jackers, that Obie has slipped 6 points in the approval ratings, now at 55%. This trend will not reverse itself as the thin-skinned prez doesn't react well to criticism and all of his policies are failing.

He is trying to sweet talk Iran & North Korea but how naive can you be. Man, wake up. He signs off to close Gitmo but has no idea where the detainees will go. He wants to control everything under the sun at once ... total government control over what cars you drive and eventually your lives, including a health care package that will do much more harm than good at a 3 trillion price tag.

The delusions surrounding this rad cat prez of ours are becoming insurmountable. Even PETA is closing in on him. Actors are coming out of the closet to berate Obie's arrogance and stupidity. Even some Dems are questioning his policies.

Now former president Bush Has nailed him gracefully to the wall. It's about time. The "blame Bush train' left town 6 months ago but Obie still plays the blame game against Bush while still holding on to many of Bush's policies. Irrational?

His only accomplishment so far has been to swat a fly with his hand and smile about it, knowing he did good. PETA doesn't thnk so.

The gullibles will defend him but they know he is running into a wall, spending away America. He may well go down as the worst prez of all time, even ahead of Jimmy Carter.
What about the race in PA (Arlen Specter (R... no, D-Pa) versus Joe Sestak, or Patrick Murphy, or.... Pat Toomey?

Let's hear more about THAT.  =)

CORZINE --- THE ULTRA-RICH, FORMER CEO OF GOLDMAN-SACHS.

HE WAS ELECTED USING HIS 'ILL-GOTTEN' RICHES FROM WALL STREET SCAMS.
The gullibles will defend him but they know he is running into a wall, spending away America. He may well go down as the worst prez of all time, even ahead of Jimmy Carter.

Bad Chihuahua (Sent Friday, June 19, 2009 9:34 AM)

No Chihuahua you got it wrong again, man do I have to keep correcting you. Bush is the worst president ever and he's so far ahead I doubt that any one will ever catch him.

You really don't have much when all you can say is Obama killed a fly. How many have you killed today Chihuahua? Probably none you way to slow.
Hey, cindy-thanks for the shout out-I can say the same about many of your posts.

Just goes to show we can disagree without being disagreeable.  I know it's a cliche, but it's true, nonetheless.
The problem that Christie is going to have is showing that he can root out corruption without being a prosecutor.  Can he charm people into playing by a higher ethical standard?  I don't think so; no matter how much corruption there is, it won't solve all the problems in the budget.

With that being said, I am not 100% for Corzine either.  The state is in a mess because of previous governors from both sides.  I do have to say that Corzine has made some effort to start to straighten up this mess.  He just has done it by angering many different groups like state workers.
