Time to wrap up the Righties Gone WILD week here @ FR…  More technical problems there with ‘The Week Ahead’??
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love my "Chihuahua" imposter.
Come here Feisty, let me shower you with some love and then pee on your ankle.
Bad Chihuahua (Sent Friday, July 10, 2009 2:13 PM)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If you even THINK about getting anywhere near my ankle you rabid RAT… I’ll PUNT you 50 yards!

Then we can all see how well Chihuahua’s BOUNCE!

I’m can’t WAIT to see you get your flea bitten ass spanked by Mark, Seattle.  You ‘dog’ enough to take him up on his offer… or you going to cower in the corner peeing all over yourself like the useless brain dead varmint you are? Time for your owner to take you in for another ‘tick’ dip – that effects of the Lyme’s (sp) disease are starting to become evident!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wow, campaigns have speechwriters for candidates.  Who ever would have guessed!
no joe, no bo, nj (Sent Friday, July 10, 2009 2:09 PM)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I know right?… go figure… after 8 years of the idiot in chief and his incomprehensible mangling of the English language… who would of thought of hiring someone to make Bumbling Bush appear semi-coherant??
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To all the lefties around here that come here to do battle with the party of fear & darkness…KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!  We must be doing something right – the rhetoric from the party of stale male & pale is heating up lately!
Like I said… It’s gonna be a long HOT summer!  So make sure you invest in some industrial strength Republicant repellant it will be $$$ well spent!
And to the right wing whack jobs… do you think maybe next week you can bring your ‘A’ game?  If you want to win you gotta get in the game & quit acting like a bunch of petulant neocon cheerleaders watching from the sidelines… Just a thought…
Thanks again Mark/Domenico for the job you guys do around here! As Eric would say… FR is by far the best place on the web for political discourse!
I like Ron, Indiana’s idea about the spell check thing… might be something to look into – since the Republicants are so low on their ammunition they’ve taken to  ‘nit picking’ about spelling errors! But hey whatever works for them… if they can’t dazzle us with their brilliance they sure can baffle us with their BS!
Anything to hear themselves WHINE! LOL!
Happy Weekend Everyone!
And give Lawrence O’ his own show already will you MSNBC!!! I’ll probably be going through withdrawal next week once Chris Matthews returns!
My question is:
Was Rick,ky drinking the WHOLE time he was pushing his grandson in the tireswing and picking blackbery's? (Is that a brand name for something?)
Or is it just while he writes?
My biggest hope in old age is that the Alzheimers (or is it that disease Anita misspelled)will make "Dick" jokes seem new again and again.
Sorry, it's Friday.  I'm looking forward to popping a few tops and catching up with Rickky.
Have a nice weekend FR professionals.
Richard, break an ankle this weekend...better yet your "tail bone"! lol
Imposters are out in full force. They have nothing else to piss and moan about, I guess they reverted back to themselves...being theives! They are so NOT original! You too Richard! LOL
Today must Lying Day.
Strange But True
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
As Cindy would say...methinks you've gone daft! I think that the party of NO and in denial are the liars.
Good catch Domenico! lol
Have a good weekend everyone!  Rest up - next week is gonna be busy.
Will President Obama continue with the security alerts. I think that he's cancelled them...not sure. That is my question.
I really hope Hollow Steele doesn't embarrass himself at the NAACP. If he starts talking about hats again clearly it will be known he and the Party of No Right Wing Dings  have no fresh ideas.
All my liberal friends have nice weekend.
Looking forward to next week.  I see that you're touting Obama's pitches baseball and the economy - does that mean that we'll finally get to see Barack rock the pitcher's mound throwing a baseball to the catcher pregame?  I sure hope so so we can see him throw a heater for a strike the way he sinks three point jumpers.  He'll make the bushwhacker look like an old lady throwing the basball in comparison.
I saw the video of Obama helping a black lady step down and it sure makes that gotcha photo of him seemingly checking out some other lady's rear look way wrong.  On the other hand the video sure shows Sarkozy checking out the lovely lass with the lovely a__.  Even if he did check out the great view as long as he only looks but doesn't touch like Vitter, Ensign or Sanford he's just being a red blooded American male.  Besides does anyone think he's going to antagonize Michelle with the great guns for arms?  We also should remember that some photographer caught Michelle staring daggers at Carla Bruni Sarkozy which was another out of context photo.
Have a great weekend First Read crew and the wonderful Obama supporters who post here.  I just saw that I got my $250 Disabled Veteran's Stimulus payment so the VA has now gotten it's stimulus money out where it belongs to disabled vets like me and Terry in Iowa.
Domenico:
Concerning the confirmation of Sotomayor--Is it appropriate for the complainant (Ricci), to be a part of the hearings?  Has this happened in the past to other Supreme Court Nominees?
Pick me, pick me!
Thanks
1. Will Sarah Palin ever STOP TALKING?  It's like she has political Turrets Syndrome.  How pathetic can she be to have a spokesperson respond to her daughter's deadbeat baby-daddy?  And is there another shoe to drop here (Palin/Plumber 2012)?
2. How far will the righties milk the video of Obama "looking" at some teenaged girl's booty?  Of course, he wasn't.  He was watching his step on the stairs.  But of course facts don't matter to the rabid right.  This will join all of the other talking point they regurgitate daily (teleprompter, handshake, apology tour, looking at some teenage booty).
3.  Is it just me, or did Keith O. gingerly, tactfully imply that Ann Coulter may have lesbian tendencies?  See last night's Worst Persons and you'll get what I'm talking about.
4.  What's the next talking point that the GOP will throw against Sonya Sotomayor?  They've called her a racist, judicial activist, sexist, unqualified, etc.  The only thing they have left is that she's satan's love child.  Oh...wait...that's what they call Obama.  Oh well.
5.  What's up with Mark Kirk in IL?  Is he, isn't he?  And if not, is there another shoe coming (wide-stancing in the men's room or hiking the Appalachian Trail)?
6.  Finally, to my fellow libbies.  WILL YOU PEOPLE PLEASE STOP RESPONDING TO BAD CHIHUAHUA'S RANTINGS!  I'm going to give you the same advice I posted for Sarah Palin earlier.  It doesn't make you look any better, stronger, or more courageous to respond to the yappings of someone who clearly doesn't have the capacity to hold intelligent conversation, and doesn't seem to want to anyway.  He/she is just here to see who he/she can get a rise out of, and some of you just feed into him/her.  Trust me, I've seen it here before.  The minute you start simply ignoring him/her, he/she will go away (or just post under another name).  Ever wonder what happened to Palomino, Obamanation, and a couple of the other one-time rightie regulars here?  Seriously, do what I do whenever I see a Bad Chihuahua post.  SCROLL PAST IT.
Have a great weekend all.  I plan on spending some time with family this weekend.  May even squeeze out a blog entry if I have time (getting harder and harder to make time to do them).  Peace and much love to the left and the right.
Probably won't make the cut but ......
Mark in Seattle:
I never stated that Dr. Tiller got what he deserved. I wouldn't write that so you are wrong. Maybe you misinterpreted what I said. Maybe you are reading other things into it. I do write vaguely for a reason, but I never would clearly state that as you said. You're wrong.
Feisty
You'd have to "catch me" to kick me those 50 yards and you'd fall on your hip and wind up in the hospital. I win. See how I play the game?
next week, the Sotomayor hearings open.  At 10am this morning, CNN/Opinion Research had a poll ou that showed that 47% now want her confirmed, 40% are opposed, and 13% have no opinion; the piece said that 'independents were split', but didn't show the numbers.  Sadly, Dominico Montanaro missed it.  Guess it will show up in 2 weeks.
Eric in Salinas says that the Democrats have the 'heavy hitters' testifying for Sotomayor; once again, Eric is wrong, wrong wrong.
David Cone spent the majority of his career in the American League, which has the designated hitter.  Therefore, as a pitcher, he NEVER hit at all, except, perhaps, during the World Series, (which we always won-little dig at Pat in Boston).  I bleed pinstripes, and, I can tell you, David Cone is no heavy hitter.
Also next week, First Read will have a post on the fact that Sarah Palin buys cheap toilet paper.  Next, that she is a lousy cook.  Then, perhaps, that when she goies fishing, she has her husband gut the fish.  Anything to keep her name in the news.
Obama's popularity is down to 53% in New Jersey, according to PPP, a Democratic poll.  He has lost the independents in this state, which is worse news for him.  Don't think that Corzine really wants him around.  And, heaven knows, Biden doesn't help-he referred to the new tunnel, in the works for years, that will allow extra trains to enter Penn Station as a 'cars only tunnel'.
Have a great weekend, guys.  Except for Eric.  I hope you stub your toe and spill your beer.
Feisty:
Haven't had to resort to brilliance yet.  BS is more than sufficient here.  You can maybe even tell that that's one of my favorite sayings.
Is your computer on auto-pilot?  I really only skim your posts but the first one here seems like deja vu`.  And since it doesn't seem very new, it can't be the Alzheimers yet.
Mark, Seattle:
Thanks for your comments.  Seriously.  Can you do something to keep those Mariners on the right path the next three games?
Feisty:
CoheRANT?  Somehow it's quite appropriate, even if misspelled.
Sorry, I nitpick.
 When we the people are taken  over whether bombed or ??? will you still be making jokes via the keyboard?
Lawrence O'Donnell was terrific!  More than terrific!  Yes! Give him his own show.  I'm sorry this is Friday.  Actually Morning Joe has been better without Joe or Mika.  I wonder why the reason GW is so quiet is he KNOWS we're on to him!
I'm with Ed on his question. How is having a complainant testify at this hearing going to work. Aren't appellate courts a panel of judges?
Obama, please come back from Africa and fix our nation like you promised. Liar!!!
Pardon me -- can we get a little FR on the NYT Cheney story / Hayden pushback??  Which members of Congress comprise(d) "the political level"?  Did vague references to obsolete household items qualify as "information" in the former administration?  Did Hayden actually know about all the programs Cheney was conducting?  If there is a faction in the CIA that did not feel compelled to inform the current Director of all programs until June of 2009, perhaps they were under no pressure to keep the former Director abreast of all details either. I'm no reporter, but methinks there is a story here somewhere.
Its amazing to me that Keith Olbermanns whole audience has posted at once.Straaaaaaaaaaange if you ask me, kinda creepy too!What's the statistical probability of that happening?Thats' my question.My second question would be: whats the chances they let this post thru?
Domenico:
My question involves the Senate outlook in 2010.  Myself, along with other political operatives on both sides, believe that Democrats have a built in advantage and the potential to gain seats in the midterm, due largely to open seats in swing states and the GOP defending more seats.  But realistically, how much do the ascetics of a race matter, or will the Dems gain or lose seats based on the overall mood of the country and the economic outlook?
