In a note that the Post sent out, the Post would sell access to the "highest power positions in the Obama White House". The Post would collect the money from lobbyist tht wanted access, and set up the meetings. What was in it for Obama? Good press coverage.

It's just proof that "unions" corrupt people from the ground up. Look at our government, news media etc. Some pigs are more equal than others is a way of life for them all.

Now that the people have abandoned the party of sore losers it's not surprising that they snivel their way to corporate America for help.  I salute Fed Ex and won't be doing business with UPS again until they stop supporting the dopes of nope that are ruining our secular democracy.  I think Democrats ought to borrow a page from the sore losers and demand a boycott of UPS until they stop supporting the party that wrecked our economy.

Where are the reports about Obama being in bed with the UAW?  with GE?  with the teachers unions?  with the SEIU? with FM/FM? with....on and on and on.  Not enough space to list them all.

Unions aren't responsible for corrupt lobbyists.  ACU was in the business of peddling influence to the highest bidder.  What kind of solipsistic logic blames unions for conservative lobbyists' greed?

Some claim the media is biased. Perhaps it is. Those concerned with the media bias should look to Fox and ask why they haven't uncovered the illeged improprieties of unions and the Obama Administration? Fox won't because they would look stupid reporting what doesn't exist. Are they biased toward Democrats? Fox? Not hardly.

I have to laugh at the fools who post here and elsewhere like they have facts but it is obvious that they don't. I would like to see some unbiased source for what they claim. Unfortunately such a sourse doesn't exist. Opinion isn't necessarily fact but one person's biased views as opposed to another's.

While unions have problems and sometimes ARE problematic if it weren't for unions most of us would be working 10 to 12 hours a day 6 days a week for very little pay. Forget owning a house. Medical insurance would be harder to afford than it is now as no union would have been there to force a company into insuring their employees and those employees would be paying outrageous premiums for little or virtually no coverage as the insurance companies laugh all the way to the bank. Yes, some unions have gone overboard in their demands. Wages are too high for what some of the unionized people do but we have to take the bad with the good. I wonder who the unions corrupt more, the workers or the companies if they corrupt anyone at all.

The GOP grandstanding & sensationalism of tiny issues have already convinced me that I cannot vote Republican for many more years...after having done so most of my adult life. They have become babies, with no real leadership. Palin would be #200 in the DNC thought process, and many of the GOp actually believe she would have a chance....that tells us a LOT.

My experience with unions, and I'm a blue collar guy is either they are corrupt and run like the mob or by the mob.
