Todd gets left behind

Sarah Palin not only left her perch in the governor's office; she also left behind her husband Todd after yesterday's ceremony in Fairbanks.

After swearing in the new governor, Palin made a quick exit with daughter Piper and son Trigg in tow. She jumped in a Chevy Silverado twin cab driven by her security detail.

Todd Palin followed just seconds behind, and was left struggling to avoid a phalanx of cameras. The problem: His family had already left.

Video: Rachel Maddow reports on Sarah Palin's farewell speech, in which she blasted the media and its compulsive obsession with the families of Alaska governors.

After reviewing our camera tape, you can hear someone ask, "No car for Todd?" Then Todd, the former First Dude, laughs and says, "They left me."

Ms. Palin has much to do and people to see and I'm sure "Todd" knows all about her immediate plans and the fact that liberal bloggers will make stuff up and Letterman types will seize the moment.

The Palin Party is just beginning and Anita and her gang of thugs can sit, not in the back of the bus, but UNDER the bus. Watch it. The axles are a bit greasy, but we're sure Anita is used to that.

Sounds like trouble in paradise...perhaps she realizes that Todd as a confidant and political strategist isn't such a good idea after all. Feisty, I am waiting for the "next shoe to drop" as they say.

She took daughter Piper and son Trigg with her and left the first dude to fend for himself. I guess it was every ass for themselves. I'll bet that there is trouble in paradise, he played a "very active" role in her office to have not been hired in any professional role. There is more to come...I am sure of it.

Since this is an otherwise meaningless little tidbit, I will supply one more completely unrelated to Todd Palin.

I acknowledge your point that the $1.19 trillion figure was from an estimate released January 7, 2009, prior to President Obama taking office. Thanks for the catch.

However, the same report goes on to support my original point (keeping in mind that TARP accounted for a great part of the difference in the current budget up to and after January 7, 2009).

From the report you linked to:

“The budget gaps could rise, however, as Congress enacts a large economic stimulus measure and may also hinge on how the Obama administration handles the expiration of President Bush's tax cuts at the end of next year.”

President Obama and the Democrat congress have added the “stimulus” and the omnibus spending bill, both either partially or wholly applicable to the current budget year.

So again, I maintain that President Obama is outdoing George Bush and the prior Democrat congress by a significant amount.

The potential expiring Bush tax cuts aren't relevant to the current budget.

Now, that's funny. Poor FORMER First Dude. A nobody once again. Ms Sarah has no time for riff raff. Hop on a dog sled or catch a bike and chase after her, Former First Dude, unless, of course, he's had enough of her too.

First she quits her office as Mayor, then as Lt. Gov, then as Gov. and now even quits hubby, albeit for a few minutes, perhaps. Well, he's a big boy he can look after himself. He may have to if Sarah exploits her looks and money any more. Don't worry Former First Dude, she'll be crawling back fairly soon. Once she realizes that her popularity rating is plummeting. But stick with her, she is writing a book (ghost write of course) and that may mean a few extra bucks for her to travel on to spew her uninformed opinion and look more out of touch and stupider than she already does.
