The Hill does its "Rich List." John Kerry (D-MA), Darrell Issa (R-NJ) and Jane Harman (D-CA), it says, are the richest members of Congress. The top 10 by net worth in the millions: 1) Kerry $167.8, 2) Issa: $164.7, 3) Harman: $112.2, 4) Jay Rockefeller (D-WV): $80.4, 5) Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO): $71.2, 6) Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL): $50.2, 7) Rep. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA): $43.6, 8) Rep. Harry Teague (D-NM): $40.3, 9) Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX): $38.2, 10) Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL): $31. (Here's the full list.)

The DCCC has a new Web video that highlights some of the comments that Republicans and conservatives like Michele Bachmann, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Michael Steele have made about health care. “Since Congressional Republicans and their right wing allies can’t win with the facts on health care, they’ve resorted to using fear, fiction, and scare tactics of the worst kind to shamelessly try and ‘kill’ health insurance reform,” DCCC spokesman Ryan Rudominer says. “This new Web video is just another way that we are exposing their lies and over-the-top rhetoric while empowering our grassroots supporters to hold them accountable for trying to deny families quality, affordable health care.”

Show me the money ! Just show me the money !
Democrats are back to attacking the media again I see. They must be tired of calling the People "Un-American".
Hood job that the DCCC has put out a video showing just how despicable the repugnant ones are lying through their teeth to kill health care reform with the public option.  That video should be played on an endless loop.

I was really disgusted with Idiot Boy Steele yesterday as Keith Olbermann showed us his disgusting political grandstanding when a woman rightly told her story of her story of having an inusrance company pull the plug on her Mom's treatment.  Instead of showing sympathy for her he turned her story into an opportunity to trash protesters, yeah now when is he going to start trashing his own protesters?  What an Uncle Tom!

Expose the Great Right Lies for What They Are - Lies!
We all know John Kerry is a very rich man but what I like about him the most is that he LOST to George W. Bush is 2004 when every liberal in this country KNEW that he would win. Ouch!

I loved seeing Michael Moore's jaw drop open .... duh, what?

More fun for the GOP in 2010 courtesy of the current rads in Congress and the Senate. And let's not forget Obie, King Rad. Open mouth, insert foot.

The Tea Baggers are in it for the long haul. Proof now that libby rads are trying to break it up. Big rally in Cincinnati this weekend.

Sarah Palin, who no longer holds political office, still commands an approval rating, and it's way over that of Pelosi and Reid, who are at 29%.

Reid's in trouble in Nevada with the main newspaper
in Vegas, who nailed Reid in an editorial after Reid  said "I wish they'd go out of business."
He won't be re-elected. Another one bites the dust.
Maybe I'm not nosey enough-I have as much interest in others net worth as I have in their love lives.

This is not to say that I am not interested in when they break the law-for example, when they cheat on their taxes.  I am also affronted by their use of tax sheltered foundations to avoid paying the taxes imposed on those of us with less wealth, however 'legal' that may be.

I am appalled that the press uses calumny instead of reporting on issues and facts that are germane to making good decisions in the voting booth.  This is a sad state of affairs for the Fourth Estate.
