Another 'birther' lawsuit rejected

From NBC’s Pete Williams
Another "birther" lawsuit, challenging President Obama's constitutional qualification to be president, has been rejected in federal court. And in tossing the case out, the judge said that Congress seems satisfied that Obama is qualified, based on the unanimous passage of a House resolution dealing with Hawaii.

On July 27th, the House approved, by a vote of 378-0, a resolution to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hawaii's statehood. In extolling the state's history, the resolution says, "the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961."

"Congress is apparently satisfied that the President is qualified to serve," says federal judge Clay Land, in dismissing the case. "Congress has not instituted impeachment proceedings, and in fact, the House of Representatives in a broad bipartisan manner has rejected the suggestion that the President is not eligible for office."

The lawsuit was filed by a U.S. Army doctor at Ft. Benning, Ga., who sought to prevent the Army from deploying her to Iraq. She claimed the deployment order was unconstitutional and unenforceable because President Obama is not eligible to act as commander in chief.

The judge rejected her claim as frivolous and said she "presented no credible evidence and has made no reliable factual allegations to support her unsubstantiated, conclusory allegations and conjecture."

The doctor was represented by Orly Taitz, who has filed several lawsuits around the country challenging Obama's qualifications. Judge Clay's order says if the lawyer files any more cases like this in his court, she'll be subject to sanctions.

And who the hell is Orly Taitz to be questioning Obama's birthplace when she is a Jew born in Moldavia? Should we ask to see her birth certificate? And what about her law license?
Charles,
Orly is white. That makes it ok with the GOP.
Right On!  Another defeat for Whorely Taitz, the frivolous lawsuit Queen.

I like that the judge in another case involving her second fraudulent Obama birth certificate also told this Wicked Witch of Lawsuit Abuse that if she files more of these frivolous birther lawsuits that action will be taken against her.  Time to take away her phony law license before she makes fools out of the American Bar Association and every lawyer in the world.  Time to ship her back to Vulgaria where she belongs.

I am so laughing that the clueless jerk she represented got fired from his military job and then got fired from his military contracting job all because of this frivolous birther lawsuit.

Deport Illegal Alien Whorely Taitz to Vulgaria!
Hahahahahaha!!!! She is a complete joke, hey Orly your fifteen minutes are up so sit down and SHUT THE F#@% UP you goofy racist cow.
It is my sincere hope that the next time O-Taitz files another birther lawsuit and it thrown out, that the Bar Association that she belongs to immediately starts disbarment procedings.  Perhaps it would be worthwhile to determine which state issued her license to practice law and start a petition to have her disbarred.  If that doesn't work, then we should start a drive to have that State thrown out of the Union for licensing, and thereby, aiding and abetting a freaking moron.   Hopefully, the next time she files such a suit, it will be thrown out with prejudice and she could be arrested for contempt of court and civil society.
I am glad that Judge Clay has tried to put closure on Orly Taitz filing any more frivolous cases in her courtroom regarding this ridiculous subject matter.  What don't the birthers get?

FACTS: President Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961; Hawaii was a state at that point; the birth announcement was in the Honolulu papers; Hawaiian law forbids any third party from trying to obtain a birth certificate second-hand; the official birth certificate has been seen by thousands of US citizens, including members of Congress. Might this be just another case of subtle, or not so subtle, racism?

Shut up Glenn Beck..you are such an ill-informed idiot.
Another "birther" lawsuit, challenging President Obama's constitutional qualification to be president,
for me this kind of non since is why people like former president carter feel that racism is behind all this garbage the republican and these group keep coming up with.
this is for the stupid people in our country, when president Obama announced he was running for president almost 3 years ago, he had to file papers verfying where he was born, when he was born, as well who his parent were.
the judge said that Congress seems satisfied that Obama is qualified, based on the unanimous passage of a House resolution dealing with Hawaii.
Now if the judge is satisfied, then thats it.
Now that this lawsuits has been rejected, whats next?
what else are you going to try?

Orly Taitz has a knack for embarassing herself.  It's high time that we Republicans repudiate the birthers, deathers, racists, and other wackos that make us all look nuts!
The craziness and bigotry never seems to stop from those right wing extremists. They give the GOP a bad name.
Does this mean that we could prosecute any birther members who voted FOR the resolution for lying to Congress?

Birthers ... YOU LIE.

There, how do YOU like it?

And would you like it with olives or a twist?
To Diogenes (an earlier post) ~

So far we've mostly heard your observations and conclusions about the rationality and civility -- or rather, lack thereof -- on this board.  Even I knew that, which is evidence that it doesn't require any special talent to discern.  Any time you want to start shedding a little light of your own by speaking some of that "reason" you mentioned, I'm sure we liberals will be all ears.

Dumbo-crats.  Just like Clark Gable.  Or was he a replicate?  Sigh.  I get so confused.
The Republican party needs to practice a little "Birther Control".   What a bunch of wackos who probably still think the world is flat and the moon landing was all faked.
There is nothing subtle about it, much of the irrational behavior behind the birthers, the teabaggers and the town hall protests is racism.
LMAO...this is why republicans can't be taken seriously on any issue...half of them are still waiting for the WMD's to be found in iraq and the other half thinks Obama isn't a citizen even though it was mccain who was born in the foreign country.
So will the Army discharge the idiot Racist doctor for disobaying a direct order? She is lucky, if this was WW2 they would have shot her for TREASON!!!! Like Dick Winters ret Col. said " You salute the rank not the man" Even if you don't agree with your Commander and Chief as a man you must respect the office.
And who the hell is Orly Taitz to be questioning Americans from the right to be American? A white immigrant from Moldavia, ahhh that's explain her right.

It's going to be so funny when Obama is out of office and it is finally proven that he wasn't eligible!  It goes to the fact that his mother had to be 18 and have lived in the US for six months since her 18th birthday. The six months had not occurred.
The GOP rails about tort reform all the time. How putting an end to THESE frivolous lawsuits?!
The Repubiklan knew just how bigoted their followers were. That's why their leaders started all this "Barack the Magic Negro", "Barack's Baby Momma", "Macaca", 'He's Kenyan", He's a Muslim". B.S.

I'm not shocked at the number of GOP bigots. I'm shocked at how easily they're herded around.
Last night on keith Oberman, he mentioned the fact that Joe wilson was not a immirgration lawyer

Joe wilson
you lie
you lie
you lie
you lie
you lie!!!!!!
you lied your ass off
your a liar
