The Democratic National Committee is up with a new one-minute TV ad featuring President Obama firing up his audience -- "Fired up, ready to go" -- at yesterday's health-care rally in Maryland.

According to Salon's Mike Madden, who first reported on this TV advertisement, the ad will air on national cable and in the DC area, as well as on 40 liberal blogs.

The ad coincides with the DNC's new “Call’em Out” campaign, which is says is intended “to set the record straight on GOP lies, scare tactics and mistruths on health insurance reform and other issues.” The campaign's first target: Minnesota GOP Gov. Tim Pawlenty.

Why wasn't ACORN looked at more closely when allegations were made during the campaign?

People are mad, not a race thing at all. After seeing what Obama is doing and his connections, people are simply mad that they allowed themselves to be suckered in to the lies and misrepresentations. Answer to Question #1. Because to other news organizations, ACORN is not news. It was to be ignored. It catered to minorities, and minorities are off limits to criticism. News organizations, opther then Fox, are all about being politically correct first, last and in between.

As for Question #2 - Same answer. The newsies would never touch an examination of ACORN. They'd be accused by the Jackson's and the Sharpton's of the world as being racists. Fox doesn't care though. They've been called worse. Fox is interested in the truth and that is what they provide. And Fox can take the heat from the phony race baiters.

Keep 'em barefoot and pregnant, but don't make ME pay for it.

Once again, the Democrats got it wrong, it's their own party preventing any bill from passing. Looks like the Baucus Caucus's health plan is DOA. And it isn't being killed by those mean old nasty rightwing Republicans, but by the very liberal, and very rich, Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va. Senator Rockefeller worries, however, that a lot of middle class workers, like the coal miners in his state, will end up facing "a big, big tax" under the Baucus bill because they currently enjoy generous employer-provided health care benefits which they receive tax free. If Rockefeller doesn't like the plan, then there are going to be about 15 other extreme liberals Senators that won't like it either. What a mess the Democrats have made of health care reform.

So what we're ending up with here is yet another Democrat vs. Democrat food fight.
