Pelosi: Hey everyone, cool it

From NBC's Mike Viqueira
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said it's time for everyone, including Democrat Alan Grayson, to cool it.

"We have to have a debate that is not distracting" from what they are trying to accomplish in health care, she said, adding later, "The points have been made."

But she isn't calling on Grayson to apologize. Instead, she accuses Republicans of holding Grayson to a higher standard than they do their own members. Several accounts over the last 24 hours have noted similar rhetoric used by Republicans during the health-care debate.

A reporter at her weekly news conference was going through the whole Grayson litany as a prologue to a question. But when he got to "knuckle-dragging neanderthals," a quote from Grayson on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Show late yesterday, Pelosi cut him off.

"Let's not go through all this," she said, exasperated. It came off as funny, and the room erupted in laughter.

IMO, extreme rapid Republicans are the embodiment of evil. Whenever, demonization happens as the President being  the embodiment of evil, conspiracy nuts will bring out  the anti-Obama frenzy they e.g. xenophobic white supremacy via the voices of Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly, Coulter, Dobbs which do distract from the healthcare debate. Rep. Alan Grayson gets it.  Rep. Alan Grayson is a true law maker for standing up against ignorance, greed, willful neglect and immorality to American people. Grayson stood up for saving lives instead of insurance companies. If Grayson would moon the GOP side, I will support him. Kudos to Rep. Alan Grayson and Nancy Pelosi.

Sure. The Republicans have compared the Democrats plans for health care reform to the "Holocaust". We've got it on video tape here somewhere, just need to look it up.
Pelosi has so lost control of the House. A new name for Nancy's place of work should be 'Animal House'.
The Democratrs are in total meltdown mode. It all went over the cliff for them when the Senate rejected two Public Option plans in the Senate committee. Since then the Democrats have panicked and are just rolling around in the mud trying to figure out what to do next.
Pelosi .... you are no better than Grayson, another example of a true liberal whack job.

Quit playing the hypocrite.

Both of you are seeking attention, no matter how incompetent the comments are.
A thought:
Why did Grassley (might have been someone else??) say that if the govt got in on healthcare, it wouldn't be a competitor, but a predator?  I thought that was a good thing- you know, like Wal Mart.
We want Grayson to stand in the well and apologize to the Republicans AND the American people for his lying.
Grayson is just another loose cannon and a lost soul on the Democratic side. Pelosi has lost total control of her house members. They're just going out there now and babbling whatever they feel like. The Liberals are cheering this Grayson oaf, but they are killing any chances, and those chances were slim anyway, of getting any moderates/Blue_Dogs to vote for their legislation. The Blue Dogs and moderates don't want to be associated with knuckleheads like Grayson - they're not going to vote for any plan that idiot likes. Nice going Nancy, what ever chance you had to work with the moderates in your party is now gone. But hey, you scored some cheap political points, I guess that's something for you to hang your hat on.

"Let's not go through all this," she said, exasperated. It came off as funny, and the room erupted in laughter.

Isn't a shame Nancy? Seeing your signature issue get killed by some moron freshman from central Florida! Obama must be so pleased with your leadership, your ability to keep your party in line and focused. Good job Nancy! Make sure to keep current on what lobbying firms want to hire you, I've got a feeling you'll be working for one real soon now.
