Looks like it’s time to wind down another week here @ FR!  And what FUN it’s been swatting down the right wing fear & smear legionnaires!

I’ve still got a challenge to the rightie’s to either get some new ‘team’ members or for the existing ones to at least bring their ‘A’ game next week!

Now I know there are only about 20% of you who will embarrass themselves enough to admit you’re a Republican’t… so would you please at least do some homework? Are we asking too much?

Have a Great Weekend & Remember… beware of Republican’ts bearing treats!!  ;0)

We ALL know what their dirty ‘tricks’ are….

I’m bummed… cause there’s not a costume shop in all of metro-Chi-town that’s got a ‘Rogue’ costume!!   lol lol lol

______________

Oh…and one more thing… Richard, WA… now I understand completely WHY you don’t have daughters…  I’d offer you an Earl Grey tea bag (but you’re enough of a ‘treat’ already)…  ;0)
Fist Read, think Obama will finally come to conclusion on what to do in Afghanistan? Regarding Obama and his (lack of) decision on Afghanistan: If Obama thinks he can now win the trust of soldiers, by blathering to them about the solemnity of his own august personal angst, he is as much of a fool as he looks to them already
Just curious...

Republicans nominate Dede Scozzafava for the NY-23 Congressional District.

Conservatives in footrace to determine who is most conservative rush to the side of Doug Hoffman, who does not even live in the district and therefore can not even vote for himself in the election and demonstrates little grasp of local issues when meeting with editorial boards of newspapers.

What will everybody do if the Democrat, Bill Owens, wins the special election?
I see you've got Chuck's picture back up!  lol lol

Nice touch!

And that's the saddest 'Gumby' costume I've ever seen!  lol lol Andrew was Gumby right?
Word from the House is that there will be no amendments allowed to the 1990 page door stop known now as Nancy's Bill. As Nancy would say: "Take It or Leave It!" and "It's perfect!!".
Another fun week on FR and next Tues we'll be listening to that entertaining MSNBC election night music.  Time sure flys.  What a night Nov 4 was last year for democrats, independents and a few republicans.  Finally, the 8 year nightmare was coming to an end.  No doubt the right will jump on that last line in minute now.

Has America Really Become that Stupid.  Well, if you think that the same troops would be remain in Iraq during the entire withdrawal phase without rotation, you answered your own question.  We're on a withdrawal schedule demanded by Iraq and agreed to by Bush based on then candidate Obama's thinking about how long it would take to leave carefully.  Sorry, couldn't resist because your statement lacked some logic.

Happy Halloween and Weekend FR, friends, and foes.
Gonna see 30 members (25 of them Dems) of the House of Reps frog-walked out the chamber next week? Nancy P., shouldn't leave the ethics draft report draft on the P: drive where everyone can find it.
Funny how feisty want us to bring our A game. There are lots of informative and intelligent post coming from the left and the right on this blog. Unfortunatly, feisty's is not one of them.

All she does is name call and spew hate, she is not feisty, or strong as she calls herself, she is pathetic.

The rest of you dems would be doing yourselves a service to distance yourself from her.

Some of you make good, valid arguments for your side, however feisty has never stated a fact about anything, just tears into anything any republican says.

Bring our A game?

After you feisty.

Congrats Pam!

Nothing ‘rattles’ In the Middles cage MORE than a strong educated liberal WOMAN!

Must have something to do with ‘Mommy’ issues…?

Ah… nothing more than another Republican’t taking shots from the cheap seats!  Gotta love it!  lol lol lol

Can I interest you in a ‘tea’ bag ITM??
Next week the Chihuahua Gang will be all over GLOBAL GOVERNMENT, what it means and who the key players are in this seemingly impossible aberation.

And you thought Healthcare was the main issue.

And are we complacent concerning a terrorist strike on the United States?

It'll take unity ... and the U.S. stands divided.
Is all of this by design?

It starts with a bang on Monday.

Hey... it's a 'nasty' job... but someone's gotta keep the BS from over flowing out of the righties around here @ FR!! lol lol lol

Are you sure I can't interest you in a tea bag?  You've earned one... ;0) lol lol lol
Fruity will be out giving popcorn balls to her friends reminding them that Obama has a pair of the same. Pam will be doing her Palin thing with her journalism degree and all.  PR couldn't agree with you more. Fruity does get paid for doing this by the DNC so don't expect anything else. They could save a bundle by outsourcing to a 3 year old. Pam is auditioning now since her degree hasn't gotten her anywhere.
Can I get NBC to come out and give me a fiber optic link right to the posting board or do most of the shills just work there at NBC's office?

Some people are on this thing 9 hours a day and always get their interminable screeds posted and most are particularly vulgar toward the political right. Some righties have given back venom but it is a 10:1 ratio of left to right on this MSNBC board.

I have to go, my tea is ready.
HEY FEISTY.....CAN YOU SPELL CONSERVATIVE TAKE OVER? NO TEA REQUIRED......
Wow, I must have got to feisty, she answered twice.............of course, like usual, she didn't say anything.
BTW: You sure get a lot of your rants posted....I think your a plant.....and a weak one at that.

Jealous?  Ane how about disproving one FACT I stated; on Clinton's watch, I posted EXACTLY what happened!!

You all get so crazed, which I absolutely LOVE, because you know I am right, you are wrong and Bush was a disaster!!!

Again, where is bin Laden?!?!

So, dispprove me; but you nut jobs just sling insults because you CANNOT disprove me!!

Pam. so glad to hear you have a Journalism degree just like Palin. That explains your rants perfectly.
More rotten apples (Sent Friday, October 30, 2009 5:24 PM)

Ah, and your ignorance continues!! When facts stare you in the face, insult!!

LOL; how pathetic!!

You cannot DISPROVE one thing I stated about what Bill Clinton did as president, NOR the absolute FAILURES of Dumbya!!

Catch you later; in the mean time, do study now!!
Attention FR:  Isn't it about time that you put a collar on your favored employee by the name of Feisty Redhead Roselle, IL.  I am an independent interested in learning the views of intelligent commentators, but this aforenamed character is trashing your blog with nothing but senseless, inappropriate, and vulgar drivel.  If not, then FR ceases to be a site of interest.  Thank you.
My degree is in something else, but it was obtained at a very liberal liberal arts college.  It was so long ago, though, that they still taught you to think for yourself.
Richard, Washington State (Sent Friday, October 30, 2009 3:07 PM)

Oh, I attended an excellent High School in San Francisco; I was inspired by one of my English teachers and pursued my degree; got problem with that?

And I think for myself, THANK YOU!! I worked on my first political campaign at eight years old, God Bless my Father and may he rest in peace; he taught my three sisters and me about getting involved!! Worked on Carter's first presidential campaign at the age of 14; I've worked hard to study and understand and your people from the right, well, I disagree with you a thousand percent!!

And when you cannot dispute a FACT from someone on the left, you insult, but NEVER, EVER can you dispute anything!!

And then you go off whining on some hate-filled or insulting rant!!

Must make you proud!!

I find it disgraceful!!
So far, the 2009 World Series has been terrific. Starting pitching has been stellar on both teams. Umpiring not so good.

October 30 - Today in baseball -

An important moment:

2001 George W. Bush becomes the eighth president to attend a World Series game and the first since Dwight D. Eisenhower to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Wearing a New York Fire Department windbreaker in honor of the heroes of the September 11 attacks, the Commander in Chief walks to the mound by himself, gives a thumbs up, and throws a perfect strike to the Yankees' backup catcher much to the delight of the stadium faithful.

"There have been only two geniuses in the world. Willie Mays and Willie Shakespeare. But, darling, I think you'd better put Shakespeare first." - Actress Tallulah Bankhead (1962)

"(Duke) Snider, (Mickey) Mantle and (Willie) Mays. You could get a fat lip in any saloon by starting an argument as to which was best. One point was beyond argument, though. Willie Mays was by all odds the most exciting." - Sportswriter Red Smith

On to Philadelphia.
Are you sure I can't interest you in a tea bag?  You've earned one... ;0) lol lol lol
Feisty Redhead Roselle, IL (Sent Friday, October 30, 2009 5:23 PM)

You do an EXCELLENT job, Feisty; they just can't handle it; they cut and run, like Palin - LOL!!
FirstRead, up[date your blog please. It's been hours and several people take the time to write comments and the least you can do is do your job and post them.
Well, I've got a Halloween party over at some good liberal/Democrat friends tonight.  I had intended on going as the scariest thing possible to them, a Republican.

Now I'm considering going as Joe Lieberman.

I see that Feisty is almost claiming to have created or saved some Democrats by sitting next to Republicans in the cheap seats taking cheap shots at our mothers.

Rusty, if I ever get a divorce, I'll be sure to seek your counsel on family psychology issues.  In the meantime, all my sons are happy to have a man for a father and a strong, educated conservative self-employed talented woman for a mother.

Hey, you're right, the shots really are cheap from up here!  And if you're just kidding, well, then so am I!!!  lol, lol, lol, lol

Happy Halloween, everyone!

lol, lol, lol, lol !!!!!?????
FirstRead, we know you are still working because you just put up a new thread.  So post the comments you have failed to post on this thread and then get on the new one.  We write, you post.
Fusty Rollicles:

I'm thinking your obsession with tea bags has nothing to do with Earl Grey.

Unless he's your roommate.
Larry O was FANTASTIC tonight covering on "Countdown"!
Loved the remark referring to Liz Cheney as "The talkative talker of a cowardly draft dodger." !!
(or shall we say, "Dover Dodger"?!
'scuse me.  I meant "Talkative DAUGHTER of a cowardly draft dodger" in my last post.
