From NBC's Ali Weinberg
Virginia Governor-elect Bob McDonnell thanked independent and Democratic voters who supported him, as well as his Democratic opponent Creigh Deeds, during his acceptance speech this evening.

"One of the reasons I think we were so successful with [Attorney General-elect] Ken [Cucinelli] and [Lieutenant Governor-elect] Bill [Bolling] and me tonight was we had independents and Democrats who came over to support us," McDonnell said, singling out one high-profile Democratic supporter, Sheila Johnson, the co-founder of Black Entertainment Television, calling her "my favorite Democrat."

McDonnell said he "looks forward" to working with Deeds, a state senator: "Creigh Deeds is a good public servant, and what we're going to need over the next few years is good public servants."

Time for a little frosting on the cake.

So how goes it NY?
You can't expect him to change 8 years of error in 9 months.

Of course I don't expect the mess Dumbya and his administration created to be fixed in 10 months!! However, I do expect Obama to bring the troops home; he's waffling on a decision for no reason; there is no winning there period!!

And it's not just Afghanistan; it's DODT, DOMA, immigration and HCR!!

He has not handled healthcare reform well at all; he tossed the ball to Congress and walked away!!

DODT, DOMA should have been repealed by now; that certainly should not take months!!

Immigration, not a peep!!

That's why I'm angry; the economy was left a mess; I don't blame Obama, or expect it to be turned around overnight; that would be absurd!! I do, however, think he should have began bringing the troops home from an unwinnable war in Afghanistan, been involved in HCR and have repealed DODT by now!!

Early reports that the Dem. candidate, OWENS is
ahead in NY 23?  What's up now?
Will Christie and McConnell bring the troops home from Afghanistan and Iraq?
And the Good Ship Obama has sunk.
Careful wacked-out Dem's like FRR from Il, msierra, and Pam might have heart attacks if it is a clean sweep for Republicans/conservatives
