Eikenberry vs. Clinton?

From NBC's Sue Kroll
At today's State Department briefing, spokesman Ian Kelly was asked about the leaked cables from U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Karl Eikenberry -- which expressed concerns about sending more U.S. troops to Afghanistan -- and if they were at odds with Secretary Clinton backing the increase of more troops.

Kelly replied, "Ambassador Eikenberry has been providing this kind of advice and analysis to the president and secretary since he arrived."

A senior State Department official told reporters that Eikenberry sends messages and memos to the president and Secretary Clinton on a daily basis.

Poor Hillary. Here she thought she was in charge of Foreign Affairs. Turns out she's just an after thought. And I guess I shouldn't mention 'affairs' around her either.
Just who is in charge of this three-ring circus?
Eikenberry and Clinton. The tail wagging the dog.
Oh, please MSM do not try to create a false controversy about rifts between one or another foreign policy team member.  This war and the president's decision about the war are serious and shouldn't be reduced to a who said what or does this one agree with the other.  Good administrations do not march in lock step.  That is exactly why Bush/Cheney failed so miserably--everyone said yes too often.

Let me guess, Hillary is just Cc-ed.
EIKENBERRY VS. CLINTON?

Cage match. $1.29 on ppv.
All they need to do is ask any Republican Coward from this board & they'll look into thier Crystal ball & tell Our Government what the Future holds.

Our resident Merlin's(of the allknowing, allseeing Crystal ball, Jacka$$ Republican style), yall know the ones, Bill (fairfax, who reminds me of my neices husband, that actually live in that area), Lil Dick(wa state) kathy(charlette) & who can forget all the Fleabitten Mutts that come around, dump a Pile, & moveon. All of them are True beleivers in Conspiracy, but Only when it concerns a Democrat. So be it!

Bill, stated in a Previous post today, that Republicans would treat the Ft. Hood Tradgedy as a Terrorist attack on American soil, allowed by President Obama. Bill & his Merry band of fellow JackA$$es would beleive the Sun was Blue & the Sky was Brown, If Only someone would tell them to beleive it.

Yall have your Free bus ticket from Dick Armey yet ?

What strikes me as very Odd, is that Independent Voter's gave Virginia away last election to the very People who wish the Skies to Openup & take them Home! The same kinda Religous Fool, who has been posting here today.

It was'nt good enough for Sarah to steer the Mccain Bus over the Cliff, now she's gonna Drive her Own Bus there as well. Eat it Up MSM, your Ignorance of Real America is Comical.

Preach On Rush, Sean, Beck & Savage, Preach on Brother's !
More and more of Obie's followers are becoming "at odds" with him.  He can't even unite his own party, let alone the country.
John King to replace Lou Dobbs.

Phyllis Diller to replace Larry King.

Looks like a youth movement going on over at cnn.
I don't recall who made the comment earlier today about how smart, intelligent women within the republican party must feel about being pushed aside for Sarah Palin.  That is something I wondered last fall, not just about republican women but women in general.  I know that after hearing Palin give news interviews, I found myself thinking her selection was a slap in the face to every smart woman like Clinton who might want to run for President, a giant step backward after decades of progress.  It was a mockery.  I don't dislike Sarah Palin for her views or even personally, but instead found her to be  intellectually incurious, and void of knowledge beyond her social views.  It was like watching President Bush all over again, not dumb but lacking effort and when she kept saying "nucular" instead of nuclear, I knew I was right.
Be truthful here, Hillary is only in the position to stay on the road and out of Barack's way. Plain and simple as that.

Clinton thought she was getting an honor when it was nothing more than a title and ticket to not only to stay out of Barack's greying hair but to give Billy BJ a little extra free-time if you know what I mean?
The problem is not the content of the memo. The problem is that it ended up on national television. Now, Karzai knows that the US Ambassador to Afghanistan thinks he's a corrupt madman.
Chant from the 60s:
"Hey, hey, LBJ, how many kids did you kill today?"

Can anybody figure out how to rhyme Obama and Afghanistan for a similar chant?
Manufacture news today FR? You guys are great though I know its a slow day.
I see Glenn Beck has 5 books on the NY Times Best Seller list at the SAME time.

I understand that's a first and a record.

Ed Crane, Middlebury, IN

Now Ed, why would a well educated man like your self read any piece of crap that glen beck writes. you told me to expand my horizon, reading glen beck tells me that your not praticing what you preach.

Jeff Evanston IL.

Reading just a little bit closer would have shown I was stating a fact, just that simple. Never once indicated that I, Ed, am reading them.

Like I said, best sellers are just that and to have 5 at one time is, well, Awesome.

Ed Crane, Middlebury, IN

I'm sorry you gave the indication that you did read them, Good, also did you accept My apology!!!!!
Obama, walking around the Whitehouse, with a smoke and a beer, wondering, What to Do?, What to Do?, What to Do?

In his mind and out loud he mumbles...How would Archie Bunker handle the mess I got myself into here?

Lost in his thought, he yells, Edith!

New Obama movie soon to be released:

Lost in Place - Afraid to Decide Part 1

Youi'd hope that the Obama staff would get on the same page. But they're not even reading the same book.
This all comes from a weak president and a lack of leadership. Obama isn't talking to Hillary or Eikenberry. If he was, it wouldn't have gotten this bad. Who Obama is talking to is his political and communications teams. He's just trying to figure out how to spin what ever he's trying to sell.
We don't want to rely on the government for our survival BHO!

That's too much like working for the slave master which I don't find too inviting.

We as African American's owe our freedom to those in the Republican party that fought the Democrats who wanted to fight to retain their slaves.

The Republican party, not the Democrat stood for those rights and freedoms.

They till this day are trying to find ways to keep us in their servitude. If it could only be seen for what it truly is. Why do people want to remain in their grasp. I don't understand it.
Were the words "whether to add more forces to the 8 year-old war" in the AP release Gates' words or AP's?
"WHETHER"???

How,s this;

Obie, Obie, you the man
WTFU in Afghanistan
Options  one ,two , three, four
Nothins good enough. You always want more
Fiddle and Diddle talk and decide
Never mind how many kids died
You think and think but it makes no sense
Cause you always land straddling the fence
So if being a leader is out of your range
Then give us a break and keep THE CHANGE
Why don't we try a more natural approach to the war?  Plane loads of Africanized bees dropped into those mountains. How about plane loads of pregnant rattlesnakes? Or, gather up all those phythons down in Florida and send those to the Taliban?  Somebody mentioned pigs and lard.  hmmm...how about H1N1 infected pigs airlifted in as "food".
