I suppose it really does not matter what Oregon and the remaining states have to say about the primaries - let's all just go with the tide and proclaim a nominee and shove Hilary out.

Shouldn't the nominee come from voices of ALL states? I don't blame Florida and Michigan for moving up their primaries - the later you get into it, the useless and voiceless the state becomes. I find it funny how people never really show their true colors until forced. It happens in my own family - on one side we are the most multi-cultural familes that I know of - I have 2 black brother in laws - a cousin in law who is from India another from China - my kids are half portuguese!

On the other side my family are closet racist - some of them didn't even come to my sisters wedding because she was marrying a black man!

Call me crazy but I just don't understand why people don't see people just for who they are and that is people. When I look at a person I don't notice the color of their skin first and then judge usually i let them speak and that says it all. I have nieces and newphews who are half black & half white and I sure hope when they grow up the world doesn't see them as white or black but just for who they are!

I firmly believe Barack Obama can change this world and not because he is black but because of the person he is and what he is capable of accomplishing!

Will someone on MSNBC please do a story on how ridiculous the “Super-Delegate” process is for choosing our democratic nominee? Think about it… they are theoretically supposed to be the failsafe in case the voters go crazy and choose some who would be terrible for the party. But over 200 of them made their endorsements before the primary season even began! Some of them follow the will of the voters as their states’ primary happen. Some of them basically sell their endorsements to the highest bidder (promises of future positions, help with their re-election, whatever). Some of them refuse to make an endorsement no matter what because of their desire to stay “neutral”!! What the heck is that?? Why are they a super-delegate if they won’t even make a selection??!! And some of them simply can’t make up their minds, even after 15 months of getting to know the candidates. This process if beyond screwy. It’s embarrassing. Howard Dean – please read this and get rid of this stupid system for next time. Just let the voters decide. We’re apparently pretty good at that.

I read Obama's book (the 2nd one). I support him because he is clearly an intelligent man, who understands history. When presented with a situation, he will always make a better decision because he appreciates the consequences of his actions.

His true Magic Number for Super Dels is not 169 - he just needs enough of them for the upcoming May 20 Oregon primaries to not only give him the majority of elected delegates, but to also put him at 2025. If her can do that then the confetti drops on May 20 and she is *out* of runway.

How many Supers between now and May 20 does that really take? About 90 more in the next 11 days.

THAT is the real number to watch.

The thing is the African American community actually have an African American candidate this time around. It's OK to admit it. I myself am a minority - an Asian. I can understand the enthusiasm of supporting someone your own race to the highest office in the land. It's not like it happens every 4 years that there is a nominee of the same color as you. We're not white people where this thing is a normal occurance.

I think it is hypocrical not to admit that.

It is actually brave to be objective about another candidate and consider them favorably if they are running against someone you would consider your own people, your own color and race. That's just a human thing. The sooner we admit that, the better it would be.

About gender, I have to say it matters too. I admire Hilary for her strength as a woman. You don't see a whole lot of them in her position. And how she dealt with her personal issues. That takes guts and courage.
Women are suppose to be the weaker gender, admit it or not, that is always at the back of our heads. For someone to achieve as much as she did and proven that to be not necessarily the case, that demands respect.
The first woman to run for the Presidency - and came really close to getting it at that is just an icing in her cake.

Appreciate them both for who they are and the history they made - still making.

I would say enough throwing mud from both sides. This occurance doesn't happen every day. Like her or not, you have to be proud that she's an American just like you. Appreciate that you have two terrific individuals to choose from - and don't be afraid to admit the presence of the elephant in the room - Obama is black and black people are voting for him, Hilary is a woman and most women voted for her.

We get either one, it's a win win situation.

My Hispanic Brothers, and Sisters,

Why are you still blindly giving you support to Senator Clinton?

Are you not deeply offended by her remarks, which dismissed you out of hand yesterday, stating how the white vote was the most important?

She is treating you with the same Clinton attitude of ownership, that her, and Bill always held over the African American vote.

They had their share of the Black vote, until Bill offended them in SC. Good for them. They had the good sense to know that they had been trashed, and were rightfully insulted.

I am supporting Senator Barack Obama. You should too!

He does'nt take us for granted. When Gov. Bill Richardson endorsed him, he was so honored, they spent the rest of the day doing historical interviews together. Gov. Richardson's endorsement gave Obama even greater momentum. It was another turning point in his candidacy, which was a great push for him .

To all closet super delegates for Hillary- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come out now before its to late.
Obama is unelectable! Our party is about to grab defeat from the jaws of victory!
Yes Hillary ran a flawed campaign, and yes she underestimated Obama in the begining, but since Feb. the only states he has won were with large African American base. That just won't be enough in November.
I acknowledge that Obama played by the rules and even that it will be unfair to him to take the nomination away but the ends justify the means.
Our country can't have 4 more years of McBush! If you all come out now it won't look so bad in the end.
Hillary will get some momentun then win most of remaining primaries. Seat Fla. and Mich. as a matter of princple which will sanitize what needs to be done a little more.
Your all there to use your judgement and in the end you know in your hearts that she is our only hope.
She is smart, qualified, and would as Lanny Davis says be our best nominee! Obama is a sure loser. Again this is not fair to him but must be done.

As a 56 year old college educated, self-employed white man I find Hillary "Republican" Clinton's recent remarks racist and divisive. Like a spoiled rich brat that doesn't like the way the game is going she now wants to take the ball and go home and cry for the supers to make things work her way. I don't want the poorly educated white bigots who gave us 8 years of the Bush/Cheney tyranny deciding our country's future for another 4 more years of the same.
