Could someone out there please explain to me why it is Sen. Clinton quotes an actual Associated Press article where she refers to white working class voters --and is suddenly being accused - from multiple sides - of playing the race card?

When Sen. Obama, who I might ad, was not even quoting any report –simply spoke from his heart - stated ‘typical white people’ in his interview trying to explain his relationship with Rev. Wright – was NOT accused of racist statements. Not only this - but his remarks of “small town, gun totting – bible clinging voters with antipathy toward people who are not like them” IS NOT RACIST? What is up with the double standard? It is OK for Sen. Obama to refer to small town, typical white persons, who cling to guns or their religion with antipathy toward others that are not like them –WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?? And he spoke from the heart when he said this ---he was not quoting anyone like Sen. Clinton had and she is the one accused of playing the race card?

Someone PLEASE explain to me what exactly is up with the double standard here. Has anyone who actually voted for Sen. Obama --read his books? Didn’t think so…

As a Canadian --I am seriously beginning to question to judgments of the American voter. I mean, I understand that your country voted for Bush, not once, but twice but seriously, what’s up with the decision making processes here and the accusations cast upon candidates for political convenience? It is rather disturbing to see.

This woman has no class.

It's a shame that women have chosen her to be the standard bearer of their issues.

Basically, she tells women that in order to get ahead in life, you have to lie, cheat(Bill), steal(Whitewater), disrespect and diminish your opponents, and do whatever it takes to win. But alas ! I t did NOT work out.

Wow, she worked 16 hrs, wow, she did not have breakfast in bed! How many women have lost their jobs because of them? How many more would lose their jobs because of Columbia? Bill got $800,000! Wow, she went to church, Does she want to talk about pride? Does she want to talk about how they have helped us suffer? Does she want to talk about how we have had to fight for everything we have gotten? Not her, she has no idea what it is like to worry about keeping some heat in the house for a sick baby, how to find some pennies to buy formula, what we are going to do for school clothes, school books, pencils. This woman has NO idea what it is like to have to do without. And we do not need another Clinton, or it would be two Clinton's in the White House. I am an older, uneducated, blue-collar, working woman, who has lost three jobs because of these politicians who really love us.

Ms. Clinton and I had a lot in common yesterday...I also "did not go to a fancy lunch, or get to be queen for a day." Instead, I rose early and spent a 16-hour day doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, doing some online shopping and reading, going out to a buffet brunch (thankfully my husband doesn't work on Sunday), teaching my kids to ride bikes and practicing softball and baseball with them. Then it was on to more laundry, evening meal, and more kitchen cleanup before reminding my husband to pay attention to finances and collapsing in front of the West Wing DVD episodes (season three for anyone interested).

Which is a long-winded way of saying that Ms. Clinton does NOT have a lock on women votes, not even 40-something, white, working class women votes.

Some of us will continue to support the best candidate for the job, not withstanding race, gender, age, religion or ANYTHING ELSE.

I hope all my fellow hard-working moms had a wonderful Mothers Day, but then, as we all know...every day is new day to celebrate moving forward with our children.

Hillary can campaign until she's blue in the face, but it still won't change the fact that unless there's an "act of God", there's no way she can overtake the lead that Obama has.

Using the Slate's Delegate Calculator, (for the sake of argument) I gave Clinton 75% of the votes in each of the remaining 6 contests - - this still DID NOT give Clinton enough delegates to make any difference in this campaign.

Clinton's campaign is over and she knows it. She needs to come down off her high horse and step aside.

I WONDER if she will keep her word when she said that if Obama becomes the Democratic Nominee, she would support him 100%. I guess we'll all see shortly.
