What happens to the 16 million + that voted for Obama if they perceive they were robbed of the nomination based upon backroom politics. Continually bringing up the race issue( call it what you want but she is playing out the Republican parties 1980's Southern strategy)she provides cover for Democratic voters to accept the race as acceptable metric for the election. All Hillary cares about is to win at all cost. Again on "Morning Joe" the 1980 battle through the convention was brought up as a positive( or as threat) to the party. I know of no Democrat who views the 1980 nomination battle as a positive. I am tired of hearing how we must handle Hillary with kid gloves and give her respect. This is not a coronation. She will lose on all metrics and now she is playing the race card. People will organize against Obama. It's not a racial thing, or a political party thing, it's an issue of safety and security. I'm sure we've all had our warm fuzzies over the idea of change and unity, but at the end of the day, it's time to call a spade a spade. Safety and foreign affairs come first, and safety doesn't come from an empty suit, who has lost 2 foreign policy advisors in 3 months. It's easy to like someone when the media likes them, but if you take the time to do the research, there's no substance to Obama.

Another three supers for Obama

This Michigan and Florida problem was not, repeat, was not caused by the Obama campaign. This problem was caused by two distinct causes.
If the democrats lose Florida and Michigan, and therefore lose the general election, the blame will be twofold. First, to the states themselves, because of trying to circumvent the DNC rules by moving their primaries earlier.
The second person to blame, and this is ultimately the most important, is HILLARY CLINTON. Yes that's right. Hillary Clinton.
She knew the rules of the primaries in 2007; she signed off on the rules to not allow the delegates from Florida and Michigan to be seated. She has been clearly documented in print and video media as being opposed to seating the delegates early in the campaign.
Now, she has manipulated the electorate in Florida and Michigan to join her in her own self serving pity party; fraudulently claiming that she "cares" about them; she does not want them "disenfranchised".
What is obvious is that she came to this revelation in her position when her mismanaged flawed campaign fell hopelessly behind in the race. She felt she could effectively capitalize on this democratic wedge issue to serve her own selfish intent. Hillary, by not supporting her earlier signed statements and her word has unjustly and unfairly given life to this issue.
If she were really about the "rights" of the Michigan and Florida delegates, why did she not accept the compromise offered in the Michigan case? Because she obviously does not care about the people of Michigan; only if they can serve her own twisted need for her bankrupt campaign to be salvaged.
So let's get over this "holier than thou" attempt by the Clinton campaign to fight for Michigan and Florida. The Michigan and Florida voters should be too smart to fall for any more of Hillary's self serving machinations. We need to come together to defeat McCain in the fall.

Another three supers for Obama

Who is going to say it? Who? West Virginia is a backwards, REDNECK, and RACIST State in our Union. Come on. This is like Barack going to a State that is 95% Black. Well DUH, he would be winning 90% to 10%.

The key difference is Blacks might be voting for the black guy but they would equally come over and give Hillary her support if she became the nominee. These rednecks probably would not.

Come on, everyone knows what West Virginia is.

Another three supers for Obama

I wonder what Tweety and Olberman have in store for their next Obama love fest episode? In fact, a Democrat President got us into every way in the last 80 years except Gulf War and Iraq War. But maybe that slipped your mind.

So Republicans, Eric, have been responsible for wars claiming about 6,000 American lives, and Democrats have been responsible for wars claiming 650,000. But I guess you're right. REPUBLICANS are the warmongers ...

You're not the only old vet on this blog, and you're sure as hell not speaking for all of us. Serving this country doesn't mean you're free. It makes you property of the United States government. There's a reason they give you a gun when you sign the dotted line. I wasn't drafted by the government. I was drafted by a proud tradition of service, and I don't put a limit on sacrifice. I would assume you don't either. But if you do, we will have to agree to disagree.

And for the record, if we had stayed in Vietnam a half a year longer, there wouldn't have been any killing fields. There wouldn't have been such slaughter on an unmeasureable scale. And I'll tell you right now, if we make the same mistake in Iraq, the killing fields will be reborn. No doubt about it.

Another three supers for Obama

West Virginia.......

Deliverance?

Or maybe that was Arkansas.

Either way.......

Another three supers for Obama

Well I am glad to see the SD's took Rush Limbaugh's orders and started giving there voets for Obama.

Another three supers for Obama

The Clintons: A Friend of Rev. Wright?

Posted Mar 31st 2008 5:17PM by Alexis Stodghill
Filed under: BlackSpin, Elections, Hillary Clinton

By Alexis Stodghill, BlackVoices.com

When my contact sent me this picture, I was pretty shocked. Yes, that is Rev. Wright, the former pastor of Barack Obama, on the left, shaking Bill Clinton's hand.

And get this:

My contact who sent me these documents is a 'Washington Insider.' She attends and creates a lot of events in D.C., and knows the kind of people who would come across documents such as these as a part of doing political business.

A friend of my contact sent her these documents with the note:

'President Clinton and Rev. Jeremiah Wright... at White House breakfast during the 'Monica Mess.' I have no problem with Rev. Wright. I do have a problem with Clintonian hypocrisy.'

Not just anyone gets invited to a White House breakfast where they can shake the hand of the President. These events are carefully engineered to curry favor with people politicos think can help them.

Hillary may not have chosen Wright to be her pastor, yet her husband chose to cultivate a relationship with Rev. Wright during his presidency. This fact seems to have vanished from Hillary's memory as she delivered her recent round of sound bites, criticizing Obama for his past relationship to Wright.

Sounds very similar to her 'I was shot at in Bosnia' way of thinking.

Another three supers for Obama

The $109 Million Dollar Former First Lady taking money from the poor. Think about it.
Angelica (Sent Monday, May 12, 2008 7:01 PM)

Oh so it's Ok if you made 4.2 million last year and 2.5 million the year before that and over 1 million the year before that and take money from the poor, that's Ok though?

All these Obama supporters acting like someone who makes Millions (and most people will not ever see a million dollars in their life times) but makes a lot less millions than someone else is not wealthy.

And how much do you think the Obama's will make over the eight year period after leaving the White House if Obama becomes the President?

Bill Clinton had never written any books and got paid millions before becoming President, unlike Obama.

In fact, the Clinton's made all of a couple of hundred thousand dollars the year before Bill Clinton got elected, not 4.2 million like the Obama's.

All these people running their mouths about the fact that a Former President of the United States and a former First Lady of the United States, who is now a United States Senator, over an 8 year period made 109 million.

They didn't make 109 million in one year.

If Obama has already written two books, how many books do you think he will write while being President, and then after leaving the White House?

How many millions do you think people are going to pay Obama to give speaches after he would leave the white house?

If Obama gets elected and serves two terms, the amount of money the Obama's will have made eight years after leaving the white house will make the amount of money the Clinton have made look like chump change.

So get off your high horses and stop acting like the Clinton's have made so much money and no one can seem to understand why.

All these BMW driving, NPR listening, people that attended college (I won't say educated because going to college doesn't make someone educated)that are supporting Obama making over 100K a year acting like 109 million is a lot of money, what ever!

Another three supers for Obama

to 'concerned in ST. The U.S. Dollar isn't as significant, our diplomacy is shot, and we still have divide in this country; I am banking on the American people to stand and deliver. I am counting on the American people to put aside the differences that divide us and combine what unites us! We need America to stand tall and proud and if we let politics dictate the agenda, then what does that say for us as a nation? Are we trully the home of the free and the home of the brave? I want my daughter and my daughter's children to endure this land of opportunity that they so rightly deserve! Americans, WE THE PEOPLE are and should be the main topic of debate, not big business, not lobbyist and we need a President that will listen to the people and move us forward! I don't care if you are Republican, Democrat, White, Black, Rich, Poor, Blue collar, White collar, Educated, Non-educated; look at the candidates; Read their messages; Listen to them in their own words (go to each candidates website and read their plans-don't just listen to the media) and decide for yourself. Do not let speculation, cloud your judgement on reasons to vote or not vote for a specific candidate. Personally, I am 100% behind Obama, his message and approach seems to involve the people more than the everyday politics that has shaped our government for the past few decades. As stated earlier, I have faith in the American people, that we as a nation, we will ensure that we bring America back to prosperity...God Bless America...Land that I love!!!
David A.
