Well it's nice to see her supporting Obama but she did have to add that "I'm better against McCain" comment.

The bottom line is that even counting FL & Michigan, she would have to get 77% in the remaining contests to get more pledged delegates. She didn't even do that in West Virginia. Terry McCauliffe finally admitted that they are counting on the Superdelegates to overturn Obama's majority of the pledged delegates. I hope all Hillary Clinton's supporters understand that.

Although I understand that Hillary Clinton's supporters are frustrated and disappointed, today's comments from President Bush illustrate how important it is that the Democratic Party come together to stop John McCain. I know it is tempting to react to the nomination process by turning around and supporting John McCain. However I really hope Hillary Clinton's supporters base their decision on what is best for this country not their personal feelings. For more than 5 years I have watched the young soldiers and their families make heroic sacrifices. We owe it to them to really look at the issues before voting. We should be thinking of them above all else.

Being an Obama supporter I have spent the better part of the last year disgusted by the actions of Clinton and her staff during this campaign. But now that she is obviously looking at the bigger picture and starting to fall in line with the idea that the good of the Democratic party is more important than her own personal goals I can't wait to see her out on the trail backing Obama. For now let her continue to campaign so that she can raise money to pay off her huge debts but after that we have to (gulp) follow her lead and unite together. Come now, First Read -- Senator Clinton did not need to "attempt to differentiate" her comments from President Bush's. First, President Bush made his political comments in front of the Knesset in Israel.
