Obama had to wait two day for his speech writers to tell him what to say to respond to Bush Israel remarks, because he does not have a clue, and therefore Obama lost two days in which he could have been talking about the economy. This is letting Hillary's case get stronger, and stronger.
So many people have been scrambling to spin Obama's naive debate gaffe early on when he said he'd talk directly to enemies. But the fact still remains, Obama had no idea what he was talking about, and he said nothing about preconditions or what he now refers to as "preparation" for such talks.
Our country will be left wounded by the Bush administration only to be led now by an unqualified amateur. But at least, it will be a democrat unqualified amateur;I guess that's something. Chris Matthews mentioned this today on HardBall, but didn't want to address it because he said that there are a lot of nuts out there. He did show the text of the 'joke' later in the show. Folks this is not a joke!! This is a code. Hillary has been alluding to this very thing for the last month or so. 'She's staying in because anything could happen. Lighting could strike.'

I am from WV and my wife was very upset that BO didn't come here. I told here that the Secret Service may have not wanted him to spend much time here, because of the security issues. She didn't agree with me, but I think I was right. I wonder if Huckebee would duck if gunfire broke out or would he just stand up and take it like a man and be dead?

I am an African-American living in the Eastern Panhandle of WV. There are only 3-4% Blacks in WV. Our part of the state was 49-47 for Clinton. I live 50 miles from the DC area. Tells you something about the State, doesn't it.

I'm pretty sure the U.S. Constitution says something about titles of nobility. As in, "no title of nobility will be granted by the U.S." What that basically means is, we will not have a King or Queen. Our President will be a leader picked from the people by the people. He or she is just a citizen that we entrust with great powers. He or she is not a King or Queen. And while the Office of the U.S. Presidency is certainly one to be respected worldwide. I don't think our founding fathers wanted all the leaders of the world to bow down and kiss the ring on the Presidents hand. Do the republicans actually think that the leaders of Iran, Humas, and other enemies of U.S. and Israel are just dying to get a sit down with a U.S. President so they can legitimize their government?

Obama said no Pre-conditions. He did not say, no preliminary talks and no preparations. It's not like he's just going to hop on Air Force one. Land in Tehran and knock on Ahmenajad's door. It would be a gradual negotiation with diplomacy. And when the new President and his advisors feel the time is right and the security is there, they can meet. Like Kennedy did with Kruschev, Like Nixon did with Mao. Like Reagan did with Brezhnev and Gorbachev. Like George HW Bush did with the Ayatollah to negotiate the hostages release on Reagan's Inauguration day....oh...ooops. Not like that. Definitely not like that.

Romney calls it like he sees it. He called it right against Obama. Obama lacks the maturity to see the resulting propaganda from a presidential visit. Now Romney's criticism of McCain was also justified. But he sees McCain as not only the lesser of two evils, but better on national security. Romney will defend the right wherever it is found, and speak out against wrong wherever he sees wrong. McCain is wrong on so many levels, dare we count? Romney is not ignoring his differences, but is firmly in favor of McCain when he is right.

Now the Republican fight is over. I wish the pundits like Chuck Todd would stop trying to dredge up the old fights again. They are over and Republicans have moved on. They are beginning to heal their differences. But the liberal media are determined to interject the fight back among the Republicans so as to damage our side. Nice try, Chuck. Not gonna work. We may not like our nominee much, but we are smart enough to know that we need to work on now is to persuade and to correct McCain's course. And he is such a stubborn hot tempered guy that fighting with him only makes him dig his heels in all the more. Kind support, gentle persuasion, and respectful comments, will do more to serve the party than to continue calling attention to the misdirections of our candidate.
