I am an Obama supporter who is disturbed that sen. Clintons competitive base exists because race is a strong factor in the mid-east. the most recent spate of primaries, Oh, Pa, WV, Ky, with resulting decisive victories by Sen. Clinton. were both predictable and inevitable. I am a white blue collar worker in Pa. I sit across the table at lunch, I hear the talk. You folks keep on saying Obama should have spent more time there. I say he was better off staying away. He could ave made it closer but probably not by much. He would have looked very weak had he campaigned hard and lost as lopsidedly as he did. the "blue collar" workers had their minds decided long ago.
I hope the general election will be different. I Hope they don't vote against their own interests to perpetuate the schism between races.

Now yes, Obama has won many caucus states in the primary but those will likely go Republican in the general election. You NEED large states and swing states to win in the general election and get the 270 you MUST have. No one in the Obama camp can show a map or theory under which they get to 270 electroral votes. Life isnt fair sometimes but Obama Cant win the general election and should realize that Clinton is the only one who can win the key states we need to actually win.He should step down. Either we nominate the first African American for president and lose the general election, Or we nominate the first woman nominee and beat John McCain in the fall. 1) Quit acting like "your" candidate's supporters are gracious and kind. There's plenty of ripping and insults on BOTH sides, just in this batch of comments alone.

2) The two remaining Democratic candidates' platforms and proposals are very, very similar. The Republican candidate's proposals, what he has shared at least, are very, very different.

It saddens me that people seem to be deciding their vote based on perceived personal qualities, rather than WHAT the candidate actually wants to do from the White House.
