I got a real laugh out of an earlier FR article in which "Warmonger" McCain says only he has the requisite military experience and Barack has less than zero.

Let's set the record straight on "Tailhook" Johnny's incompetent combat record. He got shot out of his first jet while parked on the Forrestal, a sign that he was really unlucky. Then he transfers over to another carrier and volunteers for a combat mission with the designation of "Gregory Greenass" because he was a rookie pilot.

He gets shot down on his first combat mission because he was no hot shot, smart fighter jock, just an incompetent, unlucky admiral's brat getting his tail fried.

I don't want "Gregory Greenass" McCain becoming commander in chief as all he'll do is waste the lives of as many soldiers as he feels he needs to to stay elected. He will be no better than our current incompetent commander in chief.

At least Barack will be smart enough to know he isn't a military genius and will look for good advice from his top military advisors, something the repugnant ones think they're above doing.

Good for McCain. On the downside, anyone thinking this would be a civil, substantive general between Obama and McCain was sorely mistaken.

McCain can't even "reject and denounce" Hagee without taking shots at Barack. Maybe it's just me, but McCain's responses and statements re: Obama seem to indicate that he holds a very personal grudge against Barack.

Sadly, this is going to be just as negative as every other general election to which we've become accustomed.

How can you SEEK the endorsement of someone and not know that they have these views? Hagee does a lot of these sermons. McCain knew about them, and the difference between Obama and McCain is that Obama had connections to the CHURCH outside of the Pastor, like friends and his wedding, and his kids baptism. His connection to the CHURCH are not POLITICALLY convienant, so his decision wasn't politcally convienant. What connections do McCain have to the church? He would announce his conversion to Islam if he felt it would give him more votes. Isn't that why he courted Hagee's endorsement?
