If he had time to hit on young interns when he was president, then imagine how bad it could get with him running around the White House with nothing to do. And if you think Hillary had a hard time keeping Bill's mouth shut, or controlling what he said, during her own campaign, just imagine what an impossible task that would be with Bill as "Second Laddie"! Deep down, I think that Hillary Clinton realizes that the biggest problem with a Clinton Vice-Presidency would be keeping a leash on the "Big Dog", her husband.

Clinton: The push to be veep

I voted for Obama in the CA primary.

But I will NOT vote for him in the general election if he chooses Hillary as his VP. I've had enough of the Clintons.

Clinton: The push to be veep

As a conservative who has seriously pondered voting for Obama, I can tell you there is no way in hell I pull the lever for him if Clinton is the VP.

Clinton: The push to be veep

Sick of corruption - you beat me to the punch! His broad appeal and desire to reach across the aisle to work out solutions will dictate a VP selection of non-partisanship and unity.
Hillary can not deliver on any of these merits. She would represent a draw for the woman's vote, but pandering to that end is not the basis of Obamas platform. He can mend the divide between the supporters. He can do it without her. I would rather risk losing the support of all the histrionic Hillary supporters like Taylor Marsh, Geraldine Ferraro, et. al. than to deal with the ramifications of putting this unstable, irrational, narcissist anywhere near the ticket. The honorable people who have supported Hillary because they agreed with her stance on the issues , and felt that she could articulate them better than Obama recognize the danger in a McCain presidency. I believe the vast majority of Hillary's supporters are like David Patterson; they have expressed loyalty to their candidate through the primary process, but are pragmatic enough to recognize the primary process is finished. They also understand that we need to unite to defeat McCain.
Making Hillary VP would alienate Independents, moderates, AA, and spur the radical right to mobilize
against the ticket.

Clinton: The push to be veep

DEAR GOD NO!!!!!!!!!

Senator Obama, please don't commit political suicide and join forces with the Clintons.

Clinton: The push to be veep

Big whoop, Hillary's name gets tossed out as a potential veep pick. So what. Until/If it happens perhaps it would be best to chill. Let Obama make his choice. Geez, no need to get so worked up about something that will never come to pass. Lordy, has someone spiked the Kool aid? Relax folks it will all be good.

Clinton: The push to be veep

Advise to Senator Barack Obama:

Just say NO to BILLARY Clinton!

Clinton: The push to be veep

ABH

Anybody. She's been a democratic leader for years but has done NOTHING to change the system, so SHUT UP. Look, all the conservative Republican pundits want her on the ticket. What does that tell you people? They lost getting her as Pres, so they're working the VP route. They can't wait to get her on the ticket so they can win!Did you ever hear them saying we should choose John Kerry four years ago? No. Why? Because he was the strongest candidate! Everything that Hillary does is manipulative and distorting. Her hysterical rant about the votes in Florida and Michigan prove that , unless she ( and Bill ) are delusional , which is possible.
If she were to be a candidate, remember that over 50% of the population doesn't trust her and the Republicans would bring out all the real Clinton scandals ( as opposed to the manufactured ones about Obama) including the pardons and the roles of the Rodham brothers.
Send her home to Bill
