My question to the “under 30 generation” who for the first time in their lives “found their voice”… in Obama…..where have you been? Why not until now have you not exercised your right to vote? You place your faith in a man who has not been tested, pocesses little record of accomplishment and little to no experience in international or economic matters. For shame!

Life to you folks seems rather simple. I suppose in your minds, Obama offers a sense of entitlement --- your time has come. The simple fact is that if you look past his rhetoric there is little substance. You buy into his chant of “change..yes we can” with little thought as to the complexities involved in bringing about change. Some of you worship him like he is a “messiah”, here to save us from ourselves. He may in fact be anointed the nominee, and you like him, will think nothing can stop you. The simple and relevant truth is……. One can fool some of the people some of the time…but not all the people…. all the time.

McCain may represent a party for which I may not find a lot of common ground however, I respect his honor, integrity and sacrifice to our country, the scars of which he still bears as a testament to his courage…. And I will place my hope for change in him. He has earned my respect and most likely my vote and the votes of millions of others who feel the same way.

For the sake of our country and that of our future….thank god there are more of us than you, and we will not allow this fantasy to continue past Nov. DNC party chairs and uncommitted superdelgates…..you either stop this false prophet now….or we will do so with our votes come Nov.

If Obama is the candidate, which is a given, if Democrats follow the rules. I think it is safe to say Hillary will get concessions, but I don’t think the VP slot is in the cards, nor should she want it.

I would love to see Obama chose a woman for the slot and there are some good candidates out there, but I think Hillary supporters would view it as a betrayal because she wasn’t offered the position. If she wants to try again in 2012, she needs to stay in the Senate. If the DNC wants to help Hillary they should vote her in as the Senator Majority Leader. I think she would do a wonderful job.

As far as a Vice Presidential Candidate, forget about swing states, demographics, think about strengths and inclusiveness. Go outside the box and pick Senator Hagel from Nebraska for his VP slot. What an effect that would have to the American Voters.

I can picture all the Democratic insiders lighting torches. What they need to understand is that if they really support change in our Government, this is the best way to do it, If they want to win in November this is the best way to do it.

Senator Hagel would be a superb Vice President and Yes, I am a Liberal Democrat and proud of it. It is time for a President to chose the best people from both parties to bring us together and save this Country.

I also want to say that Clinton is saying the Obama campaign inflamed her assasination blunder, which is totally false, they made one statement as to the fact it had no place in this campaign, but Obama came out and said he did not feel she meant anything by it, and that they are moving on from it, and as usual took the high road and the positive one, even though she continues to take the low road. She has no one to blame for her losing but herself and her campaign. It's really too bad she cannot take responsibility for the inadequate running of her campaign. Congratulations to Obama and Clinton for picking up delegates. To Hillary supporters: many have been saying that Hillary's comments on RFK are taking out of context and it is unfair. I don't think that she meant anything by it. However, she parsed Obama's words with bitter-gate. If she wants people to be fair to her and not parse her words, than she should not do that to her opponent. It is disinegnious that her supporters do not want the media to point her mistakes, but discuss the errors of Obama. Part of the feminist movement is for women to be equal to men. If Hillary wants to be equal and treated the same as her male counterparts, than her mistakes need to be discussed. If it is not discussed, than it is counterintuiative to the feminist movement because Hillary is getting special treatment due to her gender. Fair is fair. Both Obama and Clinton have their words parsed and miscontrued. It is part of the process. She engages in this process, but when it does not benefit her she becomes angry. She can't have it both ways. She ran a failed campaign by ignoring the caucuses and had no plan after super tuesday. She has no one to blame, but herself for losing the nomination. Just a thought.

Dry rub= 1/3 part garlic powder, 1/3 part salt, 1/3 part pepper, 3 lemons

Turn the gril on low temp

mix together dry rub. Yhen cover both sides of the ribs with it

Grill ribs, bone side down for 90% of the time. It will take about an 1 1/2 hour.

It was brought to my attention Friday, May 23, by a resident of Florida, that all eligible voters in Florida were sent Absentee Ballots in November, 2007 without having requesting them. There were a record number of Absentee Ballots cast. She said that in November people in Florida new very little about Senator Obama; most voted for Clinton or Edwards.
Who ordered those ballots to be mailed out? There is little wonder why Senator Clinton wants the Florida votes counted.

The math is going the way HRC doesn't want it to go.
She lost any support she ever could have had with me, not just with her RFK assassination statement, but her refusal to apologize to Obama for it. Then to top it off she accuses Obama of whipping the story up when he only made 2 statements about it: 1, "it's unfortunate," and 2, "let's give her the benefit of the doubt."
Not only does she make such a horrific statement but then she tries to capitalize on it!
Then as she loses SD support she claims SDs don't matter anymore. If SDs and delegates didn't matter, all that would matter would be campaigning hard enough in the big cities to get the max popular vote, and entire states like Iowa and New Hampshire would get ignored altogether!
Oh yes, we know they don't matter because Bubba Clinton has already thrown caucus states under the bus when speaking in North Carolina.
Her conduct in this nomination process has been so unbecoming of any official title, be it Senator or former First Lady let alone President!

Since 2000, there have been several REAL women who have run for president or vice president including Elizabeth Dole, Ezola Foster, and Carol Moseley Braun. My feelings?...and y'all know that I'm an Obamaniac...it was calculated to draw outrage from the Obama camp (and they handled it well). I think camp Hillary senses itself slipping into oblivion and they wanted to let everyone know that they're still around. Also by fanning the fires of divisiveness in the party, (then denying malicious intent), she makes her case for being on the ticket, as the healer. Nobody ever said they weren't smart. I think that it won't accomplish their goal because Hillary doesnt' bring much to the ticket. Most women, although disappointed that the sister didn't make it, know that Obama is a women's rights advocate (barring the sweetie comment) and will never vote for the socially conservative, pro-war McCain. Blue collar, non- college-educated whites are either racist or not (determining their vote) and the racist one's are often times sexist as well. Also Gore lost blue collar whites by some 14% to Bush and still won the popular vote. Hopefully the new demographics that consist of newly registered young folks and black folks will provide a larger margin of victory and a resultant large electoral college victory.

I believe that if Obama really speaks to the racism in all of us (emphasizing that it is a problem shared by all ethnic groups with negative discriminatory effects felt by all) he can move some of the less recalcitrant race voters and allow them to actually vote for their self-interest instead of voting out of fear.

It is now crystal clear that Obama has clinched the Democratic nomination. He is ahead with every metric you can tally. He won almost twice as many stats, more supers, more pledged delegates, and yes the popular vote. That brings me to my second point- Clinton does not have the popular vote either. She is on the campaign trail lying to people about that point. You cannot EXCLUDE all the caucus states (including the few that Clinton won) and INCLUDE Florida and Michigan (Obama's name was not even on the ballot)and then say I won the popular vote with HER NEWLY INVENTED MATH.
My question is to the die-hard Hillaryites is why can't you just accept that this has been a LONG competition and Obama just did a little better and has won? If you are a true Democrat you will support whoever the nominee might be. I am an Obama supporter,BUT if Hillary won the nomination I would vote for her in the General election. Both their POLICIES are about 90% THE SAME. McCain on the other hand plans on doing NOTHING to address the things that at least middle-class Americans claim to care about (health insurance, school improvement, vet benefits, end Iraq war etc..
