Any bets that Clinton does take it to the convention in order to ensure that she can run in 2012? This meeting more than anything proves that Clinton's only interest is her own aggrandizement, position, and power. Ickes is an idiot. As was said by one of the committee members Ickes was using political posturing. The delegates will seat and be in the convention. It is wrong to not recognize his vote to strip the delegates and now is reversing his vote and saying that Obama receive no votes in MI. Ickes point is highjacking the election in assuming the uncommitted delegates should not count and only Hillary votes. This is disenfranchsing the uncommitted voters. Second, it is polticial suicide for Clinton to go to the credential committee after she has said that she will respect the decision of the MI and FL state democrats and the rules committee. If she does not follow through with her word, it shows that she is in the election for herself and not the voters as well as having a fair process.

Harold Ickes is a PAID member of the Clinton campaign. I think that sitting on a DNC committee is a conflict of interest for PAID campaign members, as it shows that member can not make decisions with rules and voter interests, but can only make decisions based on the candidate's interests.

What a ridiculous point of view you have. The rules also said that the votes wouldn't count at all in those states, and all candidates agreed not to campaign there. Hillary even said she knew the votes wouldnt' count. She was the only name on the ballot in MI, many voters stayed home because they knew their votes didn't count. Now she is changing her tune clawing at anything she can, although she has lost the popular vote and lost in the amount of states won. There can be only one candidate, and unfortunately I think this proves she isn't going to be the one. Its time to rally behind the winner, and acknowledge that Hillary is a brilliant person and a heck of a competitor.

Yes people in MI voted, but the state party broke the rules. Period. There's a penalty for this. It's funny a couple of weeks ago how Terry McAullife was showing signs of a willingness to compromise (I believe it was on MSNBC or CBS). He specifically said that a 50% compromise would be OK with him, especially since HE was in charge of the Democratic Party 4 years ago and knows how these rules are supposed to be applied in situations such as this one. The deal is, she thought she had the votes on the committee.

What she had was Harold Ickes and 3-5 more True Believers. And a carefully constructed partisan audience there to make noise.

Neither Obama or Clinton will have enough pledged delegates for the nomination. Obama will come out slightly ahead in pledged delegates, and Clinton will come out slightly ahead in the popular vote. Neither of those secures the nomination. Instead, it is a back-room deal among Democratic Party bigwigs who which will determine the nominee. And they will choose the candidate with no experience and a history of terrible judgment in who he has chosen as his closest companions (oh, wait, he just threw them all under the bus today - he just resigned from Trinity!) The Dem bigwigs will choose the blatant politician who has been telling us for a year that he is not a blatant politician like all those others, and hope that the magic dust in America's eyes will continue to blind them for 5 more months, so they can sneak in their utterly unqualified Svengali. Clinton has been treated like second-hand dirt, as have the voters of Florida and Michigan. I guess the bigwigs preferred that to the race riots that would ensue if they decide to nominate Clinton (popular vote winner) instead. No spine, no integrity, no decency.

Now, you must see how H. Clinton tried to go back and forth, using her own violation of the rules to benefit herself, now that she is losing the nomination. At the beginning when she agreed to the rules, she said Michigan did not count. Now, she switches it up. What a bold faced liar and betrayer.

Shame on Hillary Clinton!!! We cannot have someone like this in the White House - again.
