Yep the republican party, the BFF of all white collar criminals. It's just poetic justice that a crook stole a bunch of money from the RNC.

We can all thank Phil Gramm and the repugnant ones for deregulating banks and now we have a credit crisis messing up our economy. Time to sweep away the criminals from the White House and bring back honesty and integrity to the White House. Time to send "Bush Hugger" McCain into political retirement, where all Reagan foot soldiers belong!

Rep. Mahoney's doing what politicians do. Kind of like John "the War Gnome" McCain morphing into a neo-con in his policies and criticizing Duh-ba-yah every chance he gets. Man! If only he could figure out how to morph into a stigmatic and spout blood from his palms so he could swing those evangelicals.

The repubs are all, in turn, lining up for their spanking.

Down the ballot, and over the airways of both tv, and radio, they are being barraged by scoldings from voters, both dem, and repub.

The undeniable facts being shoved in their faces by political commentators, outlining their failure under Bush, has them on the defensive, and humiliated.

One particular repub, while proffering the typical repub rhetoric of blaming dems, etc., was laughed at by another commentator.

It's good to be dem this election..

According to the politics column in today's Palm Beach Post, Rep Maloney is quoted that he may not go to the convention and for now has no plans to endorse anyone!

The district he represents has a small GOP advantage, but it has gone republican every presidential election. Its population is mostly white, retired wealthy people and has a good smattering of vets too. At this time, I do not expect he will do well come Nov. as he is being strongly challenged and his decision to not commit will leave him vunerable to those who might support him

I really think Maloney's voters care about issues more than they care about who he does or does not endorse. I wonder how he expects to succeed in Congress without being willing to take a stand for party unity. I wonder what Obama-supporter Republicans and Independents think of this. I would imagine the Dems there understand to a certain extent.

Penny-wise and pound-foolish...I guess he figures he needs to get elected before he has to take any stands...a risky strategy.

Our governor just announced he is endorsing Obama. He had been a Clinton supporter. I'm excited to see the Party coming together and focusing on the General Election. I feel happier now about our country's direction than I have in seven years!

Dear Mr. Todd,
Why don't the political pundits, who currently have no interesting cannon fodder to discuss, talk about a "First Ladies" debate. The public needs a short break from the candidates. Put on a debate featuring Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain with a group of female moderators. Better yet the candidates and their wives with a roundtable and a panel of mixed gender moderators. Would make for great viewership and the american people need to hear these intelligent ladies speak and answer important questions as to their roles as potential First Ladies.
