That statement is not only misleading it's an out right lie!! Gas prices were always going to go up. I wonder if McCain's people are familiar with something called inflation. Obama was right when he said it was suppose to go up slowly. It's common at birthday parties of older individuals to state the prices of items during the year that person was born because prices always have gone up.

Your hypocrisy about this is blatant. When you can explain why Sen McCain continues to have Phil Gramm, a lobbyist for UBS - one of the major players in the mortgage mess, as one of his economic policy advisers, then your rant about Jim Johnson might be acceptable.

But you can't, can you. It seems odd doesn't it - that Mr. Clean, Sen McCain - is so hypocritical on this, and many other, points.

It’s shocking that Duel Personality McCain is trying to portray himself as a straight talker. If you didn’t do so much double talk, you would know raising taxes would offset the money you and your cronies (war profiteers) squandered. A reduced tax would not allow basic necessities to decrease gas, mortgage, food, and health care costs.

Johnson was becoming a distractor. Obama learned a lesson about relying on old DNC hands. The guy left so he wouldn't distract from the issues.

Let's move on...my vote in this election is not going to turn on Johnson.

Now, gas prices, that is something my vote could turn on. The middle class and many more are getting pummeled by the high gas prices, but we can't have our heads in the collective sand and think that we can only focus on this Summer and ignore longer-term energy policy issues. We need a balanced approach. Let's attack the issue with both mid-term sensibility but a long-term view.

We didn't get here overnight, we're not going to leave this issue behind in one summer or in one year. I'd love to do my part in reducing our energy dependence...let's see someone who's going to help us all do that. Let's see some good ideas and plans.

McFossil's team just keep showing how truly hypocritical the entire Republican Party is about such issues when they continue to have Phil Gramm and Charlie Black on the PAYROLL. Jim Johnson was a volunteer. Phil Gramm is created with the current mortgage crisis mess and you don't get a much bigger lobbyist than CHarlie Black. This is another example of the Republican slogan, "Do as I say, not as I do." I saw no reason for Johnson to step down, other than he didn't want it to a distraction for Obama. Kudos to him for that.

WILLIAM AYERS (who contributed money to his camapign, and with whom Obama served on communty boards and attended partys in Chicago's posh eliteist section) is a former domestice terrorist who's weatherman organization exploded bombs at The US Capitol, The State Department and the Pentagon. They shot and killed two police officers and a security guard during the robbery of a Brink's Armored car, and they destroyed a building in Greenwich Village while manufacturing a bomb for use on personal at Fort Dix, N.J.
Then of course there's REVEREND JEREMIAH WRIGHT, and the Trinity Church from whom Obama would not distance himself until it started hurting him in the polls.
Geeze, if this guy can't pick friends, associates, or employees....how's he gonna' run a country?
