Doing those things will help oil companies make more money, but that's about it. Petroleum experts have seen this coming for a long time. It's time to swallow the bitter pill and find something sustainable to replace it. The sooner we do this the sooner we can ignore the middle east, have a more stable economy, lower CO2 emissions (if you &amp;quot;believe&amp;quot; in that), and hopefully lower energy costs. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We know how the petroleum story ends: we're gonna run out.
