What a difference our country would have experienced had Al Gore won in 2000, instead of that idiot cowboy from texas. Al Gore would have gotten Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan unlike the repugnant one who doesn't want to get him because he serves the repugnant ones better as a boogeyman to scare us with.

Al Gore wouldn't have turned a budget surplus into the biggest deficits in our history. We'd be $4 or $5 trillion or more better off on the national debt. Global warming wouldn't be as bad a problem and he would have pushed for better fuel mileage which would have meant cheaper gas prices now.

Al Gore endorsing Barack Obama is a good deal for helping remind the country how much better off we'd be off if we had Democrats in the White House the past 7+ years.

I can't believe people are making comments about Al Gore's weight. Is that really relavent? Al Gore is one of the only prominent politicians that risked his reputation to do the unpopular thing and stand up for the environment, the planet, and us. He was "going green" before it was cool and thanks to him millions of people are now more educated about this important issue than ever before.

I am happy he has endorsed Obama, I wish it had come earlier but I understand him wanting the process to work itself out, as it should. I applaud Gore for his work in politics and his work for the environment. Barack Obama and his supporters are lucky to have him in their corner.

All this comment does for me is point out the fact that Al Gore is right about the needs to become more green. I think this post is trying to imply that Gore should invent Green planes before explaining to the world of idiots that don't believe climate change need green planes. Isn't that a bit backwards?

Well you have to spend energy to make energy in this case. If Al Gore wants to get his message to the world he will have to travel the world. And the only way right now is to use the technology we have to spread it.

I hope you are not suggesting that he should have created a green jet and green cars before he explains that we NEED green jets and green cars. If that were a valid way to do something, NASA would have said that we need to fly to the moon in a hang-glider so that we can find the data we need to build a rocket ship.

I think Obama's selection of Patti Solis Doyle as VP chief of staff sends a strong message to Hillary Clinton and her supporters that she will not be picked as VP and they should all move on and support Obama. It sends the message that the VP "carrot" is not being waved in her direction. Al Gore is also an important asset to Obama's campaign. He was hurt terribly by the Clintons during his quest for presidency in 2000. He tried to be "his own man" to distance himself from the Clinton admin. It was not successful due to Bill Clinton's impeachment. Gore has done so well since then. I support him in whatever he does.

Obama's policies are very similar to Sen. Clinton's, and he was well within his rights to suggest that booing her was not appropriate. Bad manners are not to be respected. Perhaps you do not realize that, amiable as he is, he is rather conservative and not extremely liberal. He is far to the right of Al Gore, for instance. That's how he will encourage moderate Republicans to vote for him too, and how the country may have in 2009 a President who at the very least, is quite sane. A nice change indeed.

I however have followed the Clinton's antics since they were in Arkansas and will never honor or respect them. They have done much damage to others and have earned my contempt over the years. My disdain for Hillary pre-dates Barack Obama and has nothing to do with him or his campaign. He is welcome to respect her if he likes, but I won't be voting for him if he puts her on the ticket with him.
