Well I am proud of Michelle Obama and what she has accomplished personally and how she has handled being thrust into the political spotlight. i would be a complete wreck if my spouse ( who is biracial)ran for pres. i couldn't sleep or eat knowing the danger he was putting himself in for the betterment of our country.
adn for her comments on hillary i am slo proud. it is hard not to be bitter at someone who personally attackes the person you love with all your heart. she has forgiven clinton (at least publicly) and wants to respect his choice in picking a running mate and being president. the first lady's job is not to help govern it is to be a goodwill ambassador and to effect change on a non political level.
and Jerry he will win!!!

So, it's going to hurt her because she's proud to be an American? I don't think so. There's no reason to disbelieve her. The Republicons are trying to smear her as an "angry black woman."

Her college roommate's mother tried to get her daughter's room changed when she found out Michelle was black. That does kind of give her reason to be angry. Her restraint is admirable. But the Republicons are going to pretend that she wasn't the victim of the white racism that is rampant in today's Republicon party.
