Really shouldn't be that worried. Obama is selling himself out on every issue there is. His win at any cost strategy looks surprisingly like that of Bill Clinton's in '92. Even if Obama wins, it will be a short stay for him. All Obama-ites are just ignoring his latest antics of siding with the conservatives on the latest Supreme Court rulings. The Obama-ites really know what Barack stands for <wink,wink,nod,nod>, and that will come out if/when he's in office. 98% of America isn't where Obama is politically. A good dose of tax raises, surrender in the fight on terror, and ignoring of the engery problems will bring people back to the Republicans in 2012.

Obama is a genius campaigner, the competition continues to underestimate him and it has left the door wide open for him to step in and shut it behind him.

The main McCain problem:

How many times can a 30+ year record be reinvented and still smell like S*&t? We now have his “Grown Up” energy plan. Loosely translated, "I married wealth and I don't need to conserve or be concerned with the little people's fuel problems" He falsely believes that by sheer virtue of being around long enough, he doesn't have to explain himself, coherently (or otherwise). At least McCain is showing his willingness to tap, tap, tap dance his way into the Dole history book. For a Navy pilot, he doesn’t seem to be able to get any lift or thrust.

I suspect the Dems will win a whole lot of seats in the senate and house and Obama will be prez. The dems will have to do alot of work, pretty quick the show the nation they are trying to right the ship. If they don't the repubs will bounce back in a big way in 2012.

You (a Democrat I'll assume) had a solid majority during the Kingdom of Clinton. Still couldn't get anything done. It would be the same this time. Democrats always need a villian they have to fight. If it's not the Republicans, then they turn on themseleves. This time around would be no different. Then the voters see that behavior, and then they rememeber why they can't vote the Democrats into the majority, then they go back to the GOP.

I guess this is where you say guns!! He's wanting stricter laws for inner cities and gun dealers. He isn't against those who use guns to hunt, or defend themselves. Wants to implement background checks...

whats wrong with that... if you think everyone should be able to purchase a gun without checks... how do you feel about murderers who are released or known lunatics having "easy access" to those weapons?

The three special elections where long term republican seats were lost. Early polls suggesting a large lead nationally and in key battleground states. There will be NO GOP coattails in this election. A dream come true...a deomcratic president and congress. Military, economic, diplomatic and social reforms are on the way.

McCain's biggest problem is that our economy is in a nose dive and he's come out and said... "the economy isn't my strong suit"... "that I don't know as much about it as he should." Obama will continually blast him on that.

The last thing...

Yep there's no where to run and hide for the repugnant ones this election cycle. Real Americans are waking up to the fact that they've been lied to and cheated by the repugnant tyrants in the White House.

We all know to thank the repugnant ones for $140 a barrel oil and way expensive gas because of their ignorant policies. It was the repugnant ones who blocked increasing mileage requirements for Detroit. It was the repugnant ones who decided to give tax breaks to companies shipping good union manufacturing jobs to China and India so that their massive growth could jack up their demand for oil and gas. It was the repugnant ones that passed increased depreciation tax breaks for SUV's which just helped waste so much gas.

Nope Americans know who to blame for our screwed up country and economy and the voters are going to show the repugnant ones that they won't be fooled again by their pandering lies.

You need to learn your history. The Republicans had control of Congress from 1994 mid term elections onward during Clinton's term. The GOP also picked up twelve governor seats and 472 legislative seats in state elections.

Obama has mastered the art of fundraising without influence from the so called "big-wigs express", and the smart thing about it, is that it is allowed and ethically sound, I think Obama argument about compaign financing goes to the heart of why he did opt out. It was broken and distorted with thousands of loop holes.
