The Mccain media lovefest continues on all channels...every change or nuance by barry is scrutinized but when mccain does a pretzel like flip flop on tax cuts or torture the media sats, "well he is an American hero and he was a POW so we must have heard wrong and this is what the confused, yet cuddly old man really meant to say"...mccain is a mean, senile old man who will kill our children and grandchildren is service to "his" definition of service and patriotism...no thanks, i love my 3 grandsons and I don't want them killed by the likes of bush or mccain

Edwards will not be selected as Obama VP. I think he will choose someone with LOTS of national security experience.

Regarding the NY Times article on the Clinton debt and her disappointment that Obama supporters are not sending in money is very curious. What happened to the 18 million people who were die-hard supporters of her??? If each of them sent in $1.50, her campaign debt would be paid!!!! Where are they now????? She made every effort to "cripple" Senator Obama, she paid Mark Penn more in one month what Robert Gibb earns in an entire year, she made up new ways of winning every week!!! She racked up the debt, her supporters encouraged her to stay in, so where are they now???

Also, all of her Democratic Supporters, (i.e. Carvelle, McCaulife, and others) who said they would support Senator Obama are no where to be found. I guess they are waiting for the convention just in case something happens to him between now and then.

My comments regarding VP was not posted on Monday, so I will try again. For the Dems, Jim Webb is better placed in the Senate. Hillary will not be considered because Bill has some vetting issues regarding business dealing in the past 8 years, donors on his foundation, and the Clinton Library. Gov. Kathleen Sabilius is the "other woman" and will not be selected. Nunn is a bit old and would make Barack appear young. My nickel is on Joe Biden. He is strong in foreign affairs, a Catholic, and can beat any GOP VP in a debate.

For the GOP, Romney is who I think McOld will pick, to try to capture Michigan, Mass. and Utah. That will not be his best pick because it will turn off the evangelical right. Probably his best pick is Huckabee to cement the right wing, but the Huck is a better speaker than McOld and would outshine McSame.

All this veepstakes, is beyond boring now. It would be more fun if any one actually knew something concrete. All the rumors are very 'Enquirer' like.

Now Dems are shooting themselves in the foot again with all this Clinton talk. "Donors holding out". Let them hold out. The party will be so damaged if it loses, that the base will disappear & the black vote with it.
