Did anyone notice that Senator McCain avoided going to DC for today's votes?

Even Senator Kennedy came in today because of the importance of Medicare. McCain intentionally missed today's vote because he has repeatedly voted against the legislation.

Be sure, McCain will talk big, but when he had an opportunity for action he never even made an effort.

she is right. the stimulus check I received is a joke. It is not enough to pay my bills, gas and student loans. We need to stop with the quick fixes We need real solutions for the high price of gas and food. we need more jobs instead of outsourcing them. we need to make education affordable. we need to regulate the mortage companies in order to prevent predatory loans. we need to have affordable healthcare. we need to increase minimum wage. these are solutions.

I took her statements to imply - you pay a bill, then try to treat yourself to something nice and then you're out of money. I would like to see the entire video. Why don't you media doofuses going to buy yourselves a dictionary and look up what the word "refine" means? It doesn't mean do a 180-degree reversal like McCain did on tax cuts for the rich. The "refine" means to improve, or make more precise. Can't you invent a new bogus accusation to smear Obama with? This one is getting really old. And the WaPo is reporting that McCain is "refining" his position on Iraq, too, after the Iraqi government gave him a sound slap in the face by demanding a timetable for US troop withdrawal. If McCain is "refining," it must be OK, right?
