I'm not. What Nunn said today was equally as stupid as when McCain said it. But Nunn is not running for president. In fact, as of this moment, he isn't running for anything. That's something that's incredibly important to keep in mind.

And I find it incredibly sad if we're comparing the man who is a candidate for the Leader of the Free World with a guy who's simply a surrogate for another candidate. What does that say about Sen. McCain? Is he really only comparable to a guy whose job it is to spin stories for Sen. Obama?

Nunn says 'Czechoslovakia,' too

The difference here is easy to see: NUNN'S NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT.

If this had been Obama, I'd have been worried. If we keep focusing on all these gaffes and flag pins, we'll never hear about the real issues. In light of this, there will be times that Obama and McCain will make mistakes and mistatements such as saying 57 states or referring to a country that is no longer called Czechoslovakia.

The problem is when a candidate keeps repeating the same mistatements and mistakes and this is the situation here with McCain. His blunders are becoming very common as compared to Obama who rarely makes them. This defintely reflects on McCain's inability to be an effective Commander in Chief and lack of knowledge on national security. McCain making these blunders as the President, particularly in foreign countries, would be very embrassing to the U.S.

Additionally, just because McCain served in the armed forces and was a POW does not equip him to be the best Commander in Chief. The most important consideration is who has the best judgment and the ability to articulate his positions with clarity and knowledge of the subject matter. McCain is not doing this and as time advances he is going to get worse.

Wake up Americans! The above article is just a few of the many warning signs that McCain is not the best choice for president.

Obama08

Nunn says 'Czechoslovakia,' too

Well it's a good thing Sam Nunn isn't running for President. Did YOU help build the white house as a slave? Assuming you are not 200 years old, I would say you did not. Did I own slaves? No. Black Americans today having

the attitude that White Americans today OWE them something is just plain ignorant. In America, you can achieve anything you like, but....it won't be given to you. You have to get off of your lazy behind and

make it happen. Much (not all - i admit - but a majority at least) of Black America wants to sit at home and watch Oprah or something equally useless and complain about The Man keeping them down. That same

lazy group sees Obama as a free ticket to success, at least vicariously. Voting was originally restricted to Landed White Males because these were the people who were (1) edcuated and (2) had a vested

interest in who led the government. But now the electorate is watered down with people who lack one or both of those pre-requisites. And the result is that we find ourselves as a nation seriously considering

a completely unqualified candidate like Obama because he is black, and (until God's recent mercy) a completely selfish one like Hillary because she is the best liar on the planet and people lacking (1) and

(2) above are too stupid to see through that. I realize that many of the idiots who read this post will take the easy way out and call me racist and sexist because that is the easiest way to justify their own stupidity and laziness. But hte truth is not racially motivated - the truth is simply the truth.

Nunn says 'Czechoslovakia,' too

BUT, Sam Nunn is NOT the presumption nominee. That's the difference. McCain is OLD and out of touch. Go home and draw your pension and take your Viagra

Nunn says 'Czechoslovakia,' too

I wonder how many people who are making fun of these two people even knew that it was a mistake prior to the media pointing it out. A great deal of people in this country don't even know who our current vice president is, I doubt they know anything about other countries. Yet they come online and complain that these men made a mistake.

Nunn says 'Czechoslovakia,' too

It's amazing to me, absolutely stunning, the lengths to which the Obama disciples will go to rationalize things. The amount of ageism in this campaign - be it against McCain or Nunn - belies the absolute arrogance of today's youth (99% of which are not even a 10th as intelligent as either McCain or Nunn).
Look, for most of their lives, the Czech Republic has been Czechoslovakia to these men. Nobody screamed bloody murder when Hillary Clinton repeatedly called Miramar "Burma" whilst criticizing the crisis over there. And most of the people commenting here couldn't find either the Czech Republic or Miramar on a map if their life depended on it.

Nunn says 'Czechoslovakia,' too

Well, we live in a big world that has changed greatly in every way, and the older gentlemen have not kept up.
