Obama being viewed as absent of malignant hatred toward Iranians, and Iraqis, etc., can only have a calming effect on any feelings of annimosity they have for America having been repeatedly threatened by McCain, and Clinton, as well as, unfairly invaded.

Considering that Iran helped us after the attack of 9/11, (with our Afghani problem), that gave us Karzi, how can we blame them for being offended; even wary?

Wow, what a contrast in the last two paragraphs of this blog entry. On the one hand, a birthday celebration for Obama in a setting of enormous wealth and power, on the other, Jackson talking about wanting to emasculate the hero because he "talks down" to other Black people. I see elements of Greek tragedy here. Let's avert that by keeping it real: it is up to all Americans to make up for the mistakes the Bush administration made, its not all on Obama's shoulders, and Jesse Jackson is better than this.
